      I had tried to schedule service several times and was told I needed to contact a dealership to do so. I requested the the account number and they never provided after several requests. When I knew I wouldn't be able to get services using the program I purchased I requested a refund and they said they would submit the request. I had not heard back. Now I can't find any working phone number or email or website. I just want back the amount that I spend on the programs I purchased for maintenance and repairs. Equals $2323

      I have fallen victim to identity theft, and I've observed unauthorized transactions and suspicious activities associated with my identity. I've taken the necessary step of filing a police report, but I require assistance in resolving this issue. My goals include recovering my financial losses, clearing my name, and seeking your guidance in removing this inquiry from my credit report.       In June 2023 I purchased a used car Tesla 2021. When I purchased the car I was told that they charge ***** for their services??? They also said that wee were getting a loan for 6.3% and when I got my paperwork it was actually 7.3%. I also noticed a foul smell coming from inside the car. I used the A/C and it blew even more foul smell. In the heat its worse!! They also lied about my upcoming vehicle registration being paid for the upcoming year! I now owe +$600 to the *** for which they lied about! The manager literally told me and used it as a selling point that I wouldn't have to pay for the car registration until the next upcoming year. owner already paid for it. Its now January and it was due this month!! looking back now I see all the things they did were intentional . They had the windows rolled down during our test drive, The never gave me the stickers. the company is now bankrupt but that doesn't help with the $600 that I had to pay!!! Plus I have to pay for a new air vent... So disgusting. It smells like mildew and mold.

      Date of purchase:February 2022 VIN:***************** Payments made to company:20k down on car purchase Reason for dispute:Got scammed. Purchased car online, mentions no car damage or accidents reported on carfax on the website advertising car. Today i come to find out this information is false. The car does have minor damage after trying to sell car im getting low offers as they mention there was minor accident reported January 29, 2019 as shown on carfax. This car would not even be considered if i knew it had a car accident, i would never have bought it and now i cant sell it due to low return!! i would like to get my money back/refund as i will file a lawsuit otherwise. This is the worst dealership ever.

      Hello,

      Per the complaint, the customer is requesting for a refund of the down payment of $19,749 made during the purchase transaction due to the fact he claims he did not know about a minor accident in the vehicle's history. As part of our documentation process, each buyer acknowledges receipt of the vehicle history report when signing the Purchase Agreement. We've checked and have this customer's executed agreement dated 02/14/2022, where he did acknowledge receiving the report.

      Furthermore, the customer had the opportunity to return the vehicle during the 7-day return window, which is now expired. 

      Becasue of these facts, no further action is required nor warranted.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The information you provided is incorrect, i have tracked back all my emails and you guys have provided me with the wrong carfax report that stated No accidents or damage reported to carfax and this is why i purchases the vehicle. A car deposit was made on 2/9/22. You can provided incorrect information and claim you did not. I have provided a screenshot of what your website had and what i agreed on this false information that i found out after trying to sell the vehicle. There is no documentation nor a purchase agreement that i am able to access. You website is down, your phone number is down as well. My records are all in your website data log and if there is anything i have signed a copy was never emailed. I only have papers that was tagged along with the car and nothing mentions the history of the car besides the false information you had on the website. Send me the purchase agreement you claim i signed in regards to the real vehicle carfax which i repeat was never correct in your database. I would like to receive a copy of that document since your database is down with my information.404 not found i have attached all documents

      Summary:Vehicle delivery: Shift failed to communicate promptly, leading to several days of difficulty reaching them. A missing component identified during delivery was not addressed.The 150-point inspection missed an oil leak, causing damage to our driveway, and overlooked recurring fault codes before delivery.We struggled to contact Shift for the 7-day return process as specified in the contract.On August 26, 2023, we bought a vehicle from Shift. We noticed the overfilled oil and requested an oil change with home delivery. We expected the 7-day return period to begin upon vehicle receipt. They promised to confirm delivery details by Monday for Tuesday. However, Monday passed without contact. Daily calls with long wait times ensued. It wasn't until Thursday that we finally reached someone at Shift, and the vehicle was delivered the same day.Upon delivery, we found a missing charger cable, clearly shown in Shift's vehicle details. We reported this, but received no response. The next day, we noticed an oil leak on our driveway. Shift's inspection had not flagged this leak.We arranged a vehicle inspection for the earliest available date, Monday, considering our Thursday delivery. It revealed an oil leak, fault codes, and low battery voltage. On Tuesday, we contacted Shift within the 7-day return period.Despite numerous attempts via email, voicemail, and text messages, Shift did not respond. We opted to pay the dealership for the oil leak repair, confirmed to be from a previous oil change.

      Poor service from leadership, great service from local officer ************ Car was sold to me with 1 key - and noted in the sale comments. What wasn't revealed is that replacement FOB's cost $800 and only 1 key does not allow me to have complete control of my car. Managers have followed up with me saying I am *** and they aren't responsible. Caveat Emptor

      I recently purchased a vehicle through shift and they said my loan was going to be through **** of America well the filed it with ally at a higher interest rate then what we agreed upon so I called them and they said they would get it switched to **** of America before canceling with Ally but then they canceled the loan with ally and I just called **** of America and they still don't have a loan in my name or car vin and its been about a month since we started the process to get it switched Shift told me they wouldn't cancel ally loan until I had a new loan but they did Cancel it and now I don't know if I have a car loan or who its with and I've tried to get ahold of shift multiple times and they don't answer the call or return my messages they said they'd contact me back but never did about the loans changing

      Incident occurred on 9/10/2023 I test drove a vehicle they were selling, and took 3 days to look around at other options before making my decision to purchase the vehicle from Shift at their ******* ** location. I called Shift the evening before the day I planned to come in to let them know about my decision. I was only able to speak to someone at their corporate office who made an appointment for me to come in the next day at noon to purchase. The day of the purchase I called again when they opened at 11am to confirm my 12pm appointment and make sure the vehicle was still available. The person I spoke with at the head office reserved the vehicle for me and guaranteed me it would not be sold. When I arrived at 12pm the time of my appointment at Shift in ******* they let me know that my vehicle had just been sold. The employees at the actual location had no idea of my appointment or previous calls. They did not offer me any compensation for another vehicle at the same price as the one that I had planned to purchase. They did nothing to apologize for the mistake or how it had completely inconvenienced my day. My complaint is that their customer support is non existent and there is no communication between their head office and the employees who are actually selling vehicles at their locations.

      I purchased a vehicle online from Shift Technologies, Inc. During the process I was advised that it could take around 60 days before I would receive the vehicle registration and tags. I was also advised they do not provide temp tags and I should not drive my vehicle before receiving these items. I submitted all the required and necessary documents so they could request registration/tags through the **************. I have not received any follow-up. I have have called at least 4 times and written an 2 emails. No one has followed up with me. I have a car sitting in my driveway that I cannot legally drive but yet I am still making car payments. I received confirmation via email on June 9 that all my documents were complete. I paid $102.75 registration fees and $150 documentation fee. Contract purchase date was May 24, 2023. Purchased 2011 **** Focus VIN *****************. I need the registration and tags so that I can legally drive the vehicle. Thanks.

      1. On or about July 2023, Shift and Buyer have mutually agreed via email re Shift's decision to buyback vehicle that had Check Engine Light issue since first delivered to Buyer on Dec 4th, 2022. 2. Shift drafted the Settlement Agreement: Return all monies to buyer. And payoff car note with their in-house partner Ally Financing.3. Buyer executed Agreement, August 2nd. Refunds and payoff of car Note should have been completed Aug 9th, latest, per Settlement Agreement.BUT...Shift has gone "silent!" It has been two weeks! Buyer on a "chase mode " via emails and phonecalls. To no avail.4. Shift needs to have paused Ally payments in the first place as they attempted to fix CEL issue in December '22. Now we need Shift to pause the payments to Ally as they process the payoff. This will avoid ***** from getting credit dings due to their nonperformance of contract. 5. Refund our $10538 monies this week. Was due August 9th 6. Pick up their vehicle ASAP after refunds to Buyer and payoff of car Note is successfully completed. DMV Form 262 is ready to convey at pick up of vehicle. Thank you!
