  They banned my account (.papa_franku) for enforcing their tos and mocking pedophiles (pedophiles are bad) I've tried for an appeal but their customer support is ran by **. they have no real people in charge. I just hope you can fix this because I have a job to do.

  Locked my account for saying, "Well they can't govern themselves. All the neighbouring countries don't want to deal with them. We're running out of options here." This comment doesn't violate community guidelines. The only violation here is the violation of the First Amendment. You are a platform not a publisher!

  So just like a complaint below my while asleep on a school night got accidentaly reported by a friend. That same friend said it was an error and told discord such. My autistic teen then tried to contact discord and they proceeded to extort money out of my son asking for a payment or bank account. As soon as he said he was putting his mother on to talk with them ***** Lynggaard then replied. "Then I will permanently ban your IP and discord account. If this company was legit and not trying to extrort money from people most of all children and disabled people then why would they jump right to Im banning your IP and account permanently.

  I was on call with ***** ****** of discord support for 3 to 4 hours to dispute a bunch of overnight reports on my account. they asked me to constantly send them money multiple different times in different ways like a scammer. while after a ton of arguing they sent the money back, they still suspended my account and set it to be deleted with no proper review.

  A friend had accidentally filed a report on my account when she meant it for someone else and Discord refuses to help me solve my issue. My account will be permanently banned if nothing is done about this and I have spent hours trying to get an actual helpful answer from them. A person from their support team told me that I was reported for illegal activity and illegal purchases/fraud, knowing that the friend said it was an accident, but still wanted me to prove that I did not partake in such. They had sent me a temporary account under ********************** protection, but when I logged back in again Discord limited and restricted me from talking to the person about my account until November 28.

  Ive been dealing with private photos getting leaked in a server and having random users exploit them for malicious use. And when I try to report them, nothing happens. I waited a month, nothing happened. I went to discord support and all they told me is to go report them through the app in which I did before, yet nothing.

  Discord has recently partnered with ******, offering a promotion where you may purchase a subscription to a Twitch user, and ****** will provide you with a code for a 3-month subscription with Discord's ************* for new, and returning customers.However, what wasn't stated with the promotion on the front page of Twitch was that in order to qualify as a returning customer, your Nitro subscription with ********************** must have been inactive for at least 12-months. This information is not directly presented to the consumer with the promotion's message on ******'s front page, or within your Twitch account's notifications. To find this information, you need to click onto a separate link within ******, right about half-way down the new page.I had purchased a subscription on Twitch under the complete assumption that I would be able to take advantage of the promotion with Discord. At the time the purchase had been made, I did not know that I wouldn't be able to take advantage of the offer with Discord.This is a clear indication of a "dark pattern," and I do believe that I had been tricked in order to make a purchase.I had reached out to Discord's customer support to see if they would still be able to honor the code and apply the offer to my account retroactively. I explained the above situation, but Discord's customer support would not address any of my concerns directly. Instead, Discord had simply informed me that they would not honor the code, and had redirected me to the separate link that I had mentioned previously, and informed me that I would need to contact ****** for further assistance.While the purchase had been made on Twitch, the reason I had contacted Discord's customer support is because I could not apply the Discord promotional code to my Discord account as a returning user. As a consumer, this interaction has me fully convinced that Discord complies, and consents to the use of "dark patterns" in order to promote their services.

  Discord security is a joke. There are so many servers where predatory behavior or child endangerment runs ****, and despite multiple complaints the staff neglects to do anything about it.

  my account was recently permenantly suspended for a false report from a user stating that im under 13. Ive sent numerous replys on a appeal request. and only 3 appeals. It seems to me like every report or reply to the request keeps getting ignored. Im a creator that uses discord for my community, i have never been so disapointed in a platforms lack of moderation and lazieness of support. They deserve 0 stars period.
