On April 15, 2024, I contributed to a campaign on Indiegogo in the amount of $269. The campaigner said that the fulfillment of the order will be in May 2024. However, this company has been delaying and delaying and there's no data for distribution of the product they promised. Moreover, the company behind the campaigner appears to be a fraudulent one. I requested a refund in July and the company said for all refunds to go through Indiegogo. When I contacted Indiegogo, they claimed that the deadline for refund has passed and to go through the campaigner company, which I did. The campaigner agreed to issue a refund and requested wire banking information because that's the only way they can issue it. When I didn't receive a refund, they wrote back that they will not be refunding me and will only issue a store credit - keep in mind that this is for an item that doesn't exist. This campaigner is fraudulent and even their website is fake. The product doesn't exist and is not being made in the ***. The address used for the business is also fake. Indiegogo is refusing to issue a refund and take responsibility for allowing a fraudulent company to campaign on their website. **********************Initial Complaint

I have raised over $15,000 via Indiegogo and the funds were supposed to be disbursed around June 21 2024. The funds have been withheld and they have offered me no explanation about where my funds are, why they are being withheld, and they have ignored my emails for over a week now. My business is suffering because they are withholding my funds which has halted my post-production process for my film and caused hardship on my employees.Initial Complaint

I purchased two carbon fiber mountain bikes on Indiegogo.com on April 29, 2022. In May 2023, they announced on Indiegogo that they would be issuing refunds. For the past 13 months, I have reached out to Luup-X and/or Indiegogo trying to get the refund that was promised. No one as ever respond to my emails or 50+ letters I have mailed. I really need help in order to get the refund. Any help you could provide would be appreciated!Attached - posting of refund, proof of purchase (bank screenshot), copy of letter and the 52 names I mailed the letter too (no response from the letter back in September 2023). I purchased this device (An oral care product by Oenklen) through Indigogo online. I charged it to my Citi credit card. The device came, and I used it one time. Obviously, I expected it to work on a regular basis but this one only worked ONE time filtering the tap water to ozinated water. IE - I certainly expected it to work!!! It came with a notice to use the ** for instructions - but the ** does not work. Attached are screenshots of the ** not working as well. I am frustrated with this and not able to reach this company through any other means. I appreciate your help in helping me return this/get a refund.Initial Complaint

The date of the transaction was August 19th, 2019. The amount paid was $200.00 USD. The company we supposed to have our product delivered January 2020 but has been prolonged due to the pandemic. The nature if the dispute is the company has finally got units for the factory and are selling them to new customers as opposed to those of us that prepaid in advance for their startup. They've been selling the products that we're supposed to receive and are selling them to new customers. We helped start their business and we're supposed to be first to receive, yet the company keeps telling us to wait.They have not tried to resolve the issue. They just keep pushing our shipments back more and more telling us to wait. They've been advertising on ******* as well as pushing their website across different platforms. All we want is what we paid for years ago and not have to be delayed.Initial Complaint

I have contacted the campaign owner for the business 3 times in December to get a refund and stop the order , I never received a response . I made the order in August 2023. Did not receive the product I then filed a dispute through the bank and someone emailed immediately about how I have to cancel the dispute in order for them to refund me and cancel . I canceled the dispute and emailed to indiegogo back last week and now they will not respond to me to honor the refundInitial Complaint

December 28, 2018 - paid $174 to the ****************** Speaker campaign No product was ever delivered, hardware or software.May 14, 2022 - Indiegogo begins refunding SOME but not all campaign contributors. I did not receive a refund, nor any goods or services. I contacted Indiegogo about receiving a refund and was told I "accepted the risk" and they cannot guarantee delivery, which would be acceptable normally but THEY PROVIDED REFUNDS TO SOME BACKERS. This unfair balance of refunds is wrong. If we're all supposed to accept the risk, there's no refunds, if they're providing some, they know they were in the wrong and need to refund everyone equally.
