The app for Pomelo is not clear that you are actually applying for a credit card! Once this happened, I tried to call and payoff the balance and have the card cancelled. The person helping me refused to help me pay off the card and to cancel my account due to the fact that I thought that there was a fraudulent charge on the card. I still have no way to pay off the balance or to cancel the card. I think my next step is to contact ********** directly.

Mr. ********, according to your Better Business Bureau complaint, you stated that it was unclear that Pomelo offers a credit card product. You also stated that you are having difficulty paying off your balance and requested to close the account. Finally, you also claimed that there were fraudulent charges on your account. In an effort to address your concerns, Pomelo ******************* investigated the activity on your account.

The investigation determined that you are no longer claiming fraudulent transactions made on the account. The status of the account is now fully paid and the account has been closed. You should have a copy of an account closure notice.

I am rejecting this response because:

They are not explaining how they pulled my credit report with only my last four.

They are scamming people and scamming seniors.

    They need to be stopped.

    Sincerely,
