I am writing to formally file a complaint against Elite Book Writers regarding a business transaction on January 6, 2023. The transaction involved a total payment of $999 for ghostwriting services. I am deeply dissatisfied with the service I have received, and I believe it is necessary to seek the intervention of the Better Business Bureau to resolve this matter. The details of the transaction are as follows: Date of Transaction: January 6, 2023 Amount Paid: $999 At the time of the transaction, it was explicitly stated that the ghostwriting service would produce a book within three months. However, the reality has been far from satisfactory. It took five months to receive a single chapter, which did not meet the standards or expectations set for the project. On March 17, 2023, I purchased a second ghostwriting service from the same company, also for $999. To my great disappointment, as we approach the end of the year, I have not received either book that I paid for, nor have I been refunded the money that was charged to my account.I took the initiative to request a full refund for both transactions on July 20, 2023. Since then, I have continuously communicated with my designated point of contact. Regrettably, I have not made any progress in obtaining a refund. My point of contact repeatedly informs me that their accounting department is working on processing the refund, but it has yet to be completed. This ongoing situation has caused significant financial and emotional stress, as the company's failure to deliver on its promises and provide a refund for undelivered services is wholly unacceptable.I kindly request the Better Business Bureau's intervention to facilitate the resolution of this matter. Specifically, I am seeking a full refund of the $1998 as no services have been rendered.I appreciate your prompt attention and assistance in resolving this dispute. Thank you for your time and consideration.

In February and March of 2023 I purchased several services from this company that were never delivered:1- **** marketing package: although they did create some posts on ********* the actual paid marketing that was included in the price never happened. Paid $1,999 on Feb 17, 2023. 2- Audiobook package: although I did receive the audiobook, on closer inspection it is clearly an AI voice with errors throughout. Paid $4,999 on Feb 17, 2023. 3- Website bundle: was supposed to include building the website, a virtual store to sell my book, and permanent website hosting. The website is still not functional. Paid $1,999 on March 1, 2023. 4- **** distribution deal. Signed a contract with them on April 12, 2023. I paid $12,650 for print copies of my book to be distributed to book stores. They guaranteed a return of about $30k, with monthly disbursements of $5,333 for six months starting August 28, 2023. Once I did not accept further services, they stopped contacting me and will not answer my call and emails. I should have received the first payment a month ago, and I cannot get through to anyone that can help me. At this point I believe I was scammed.

I purchased a $1,600 book marketing package from Elite Book Writing on 2/13/23. I only agreed to make the purchase after *********************** guaranteed me in writing the following:"500 Copies will be sold within 1 month along with 200% ROI to be generated. You can avail 100% money-back guarantee if the committed number of copies is not sold or committed ROI is not achieved within the committed deadline."I waited for nearly 2 months for results from Elite Book Writing, but I received nothing. I did not sell any new copies of my book nor did I get any ROI. So, on 4/10/23, I contacted Elite Book Writing to ask for my money back. I spoke with ***********************, and they refused to offer me a refund, even though they guaranteed "100% money-back guarantee" in writing if they failed to get the promised results within 1 month. I was eventually contacted by the ********* ********** via phone after many requests, and they said that they would only offer me a 50% refund. I told them that I wanted a 100% refund as per our agreement. Following the call, there was no further correspondence from Elite Book Writing, and I never even received the 50% refund they said I would receive, nor the 100% full refund I was guaranteed.

A TOTAL SCAM.On 7.27.22 I entered into an agreement with Elite Book Writing to publish and market my already completed novel.I chose the 3-month plan which offered a money back guarantee if they didnt sell **** copies of my book within that 3-month period.I met every financial obligation required, for these **** copies to sell. This financial obligation was inclusive of a very expensive marketing plan. I was told I had to print **** copies of my book-450 paperbacks and 450 hard copies. Printing cost of $9000.*********************** was my project manager. I wanted to print 100 of each, seeing how the books would sell. He discouraged me from doing this stating that the book would be selling in bulk quickly and if I didnt have the **** copies, the printing would be slowed down and the customers ordering would have to wait for a longer period to rec. the books they paid for. I didnt want my customers having to wait for their purchase to arrive, I agreed to the **** copies. As of 4.26.23. They have only sold 27 paperbacks and 7 hard copies. No bulk sales. I asked **** repeatedly why my books were not selling in bulk, he informed me that the distributors would only buy the books if I had **** to **** copies to sell. He stated that he had distributors ready to purchase, but of course I would have to pay to print these additional copies at a cost of thousands and thousands of dollars to **** refused to print further copies, as my **** copies had not sold. **** stated that we needed to begin a new marketing plan to sell the remaining copies at an additional cost to **** adamantly refused, insisting that I speak to his supervisor regarding the **** copies they guaranteed would sell within 3 months. Supervisor ************************* contacted me on April 26th assuring me a new marketing plan would be developed at no additional cost to me . The last book they sold was on 4.9.23. No new Plan.6.21.23 I requested a refund of $7800 for books not sold. No one is responding to me.

They never completed the project, they gave my name to another company show started calling me, telling me they had gone bankrupt. The quality of the limited work they produced was horrific at best with spelling errors, punctuation issues, this company is a scam. They wouldn't return my calls when I requested a refund since no services were performed. Most concerning is that a different company called me within 2 days and said they had understood I was working with them and that they had gone bankrupt - did I want to work with them. Unethical to say the least

I was looking to find the best Marketing solution for my book and Elitebookwriting came up on top of my ****** search. They promised to sell **** copies of my already existing book (guaranteed) and promised to build my website, ****** pages and a bunch of other things. The package was of $3000. Later I was told that it does not include the website build+hosting and made me pay $2500 more. After some more time they claimed that my book has been chosen by the largest distributors in ******* and for printing the books charged me $1810, $8850 and $10900 on separate occasions. They had promised guaranteed royalties.End result: This business is a total scam!No royalties ever get paid, no marketing campaign happens, no actual sales happen. All the things that they promise are lies. How they still keep you as a customer and make you pay?1. A Project Manager will talk to you daily giving false info and fake updates 2.They threaten you by saying that your previous money is useless if you don't pay more 3.They send you bogus emails to extract more money 4.The manager makes subtle threats and tugs at a writer's hope of getting the book in the hands of public.5.They claim they have ties with Barnes&Noble and claim they'll arrange signings for you The address on their website(****************************************************************************) seems fake as it is not an actual building. They have sister websites/companies with the names of 1.Creative Company 2.Designs Company (***************************)3.****************************************** you pay, their goal is to delay you till the time you can't file for a refund through your credit card anymore. Once that time is passed, they will no longer respond to your mails or pick your calls. They'll completely ghost you. If you are in a situation like me, talk to BBB and talk to your Bank/ Credit card institution too to get your money back. You need to bring these guys back on table and try to get your money back.

I contacted Elite book writing in June 2022, to help market my book. I purchased a platinum marketing package ($2600). A few days later, I purchased a publishing package to publish ($1500) and an audiobook ($1400), followed by printing books ($1900). They never completed the marketing, book publishing, audiobook, and the books they sent me had serious typos on the front cover. I worked with seven different people and each was more dysfunctional than the last. They promised me that things would improve but that never happened. It has been 10 months, and I still havent received a quality book trailer, audiobook, SMM, SEO, Wikipedia page, or ****** preview. I purchased a platinum marketing plan- but I am still waiting for the trailer. The first draft was a powerpoint with 3 slides with ****** images. My project has been switched to five program manager people, each more dysfunctional than the rest, with absolutely no oversight. They never published one thing for me or completed the audiobook. They shipped me printed books with the wrong cover twice! This company is incompetent with disregard for authors. They asked me to withdraw my complaint from BBB and when I did not do this they have stopped all communication with me. In September, I entered into a book distribution contract, where I would get $8942 to distribute my book and expected to be paid royalties ($21,000) for the book. I expected my first royalty payment on 12/28/2022, but that didnt happen. They do not answer calls or respond to emails or texts. As I awaited my royalties, they convinced me to pay $1750 to clear the previous dues, which I did and then I lost all contact. I hired a lawyer and there is no record of this company. The address and names are all fake. When I looked at my bank statement I paid to multiple different companies that cannot be found. I am not the only one who has been scammed. The BBB rating is F for this company.

Elite Book Writing created a website for my book. They took orders for my book without shipping it out. They charged me 18k to print books to go to libraries, schools and stores. These were never printed. I also never received any of my royalty payments as written out in contract. They kept giving me excuse after excuse. Eventually the started ignoring my emails and texts, calls. My book was also available on Amazon. I was not receiving any sales money for those as well. They were keeping them for themselves. This is a horrible company and a huge scam.
