1 starI have had so many issues with ******* Sonoma and their brands. Most recently I was sent the wrong item and I was told to have a replacement sent I had to return the item first, which goes against *** regulations. The first ****** I spoke to said there was a disclaimer on their website that protects them from this. I looked and there is no disclaimer. I called again and was told I had to return the item before they sent a refund or replacement. After having so many customer service issues and poor quality from ** brands, I will not be purchasing from them again. It is absolutely absurd that a company labeled luxury has the worst quality and customer service.Review fromMichelle H

1 starThe bait and switch of pottery barn is, you pay thousands upon thousands of dollars for a couch, they tell you its being delivered on the morning of delivery. They tell you one of the slip covers doesnt fit they make you wait another month. They tell you its going to be delivered a second time on the morning of the second delivery they call you to say a new slip cover has a tear in it that needs to be fixed. Exact same scenario. Garbage communication between delivery service, *****************************, barn warehouse and their customer service team. I have already gotten rid of my couch and now we are sitting on camp chairs. Its infuriating to be told its being delivered and then the morning of it gets canceled. And their massively high shipping and processing fee fees go directly to their pockets because it sure isnt going into their warehouse for ease of delivery and quality control.Review frommonica s

1 starI ordered an *************** maker ******* brand. The cost was ******. The first coffee make I received was the wrong brand , cost of that coffee maker was ******.( I however was charged ******) I promptly returned that coffee maker. The second coffee maker I received was also incorrect. This was a Cuisinart for ******. Called asked for a return and refund as well as to speaks to a supervisor. Call was disconnected. Phoned back , again asked for a return and refund as well as to talk to a supervisor. I was told I had to send an email to the agent that I was currently speaking to , the would then forward my email to a supervisor and I would receive a return email. Completely unacceptable and seems like shady business practice to me. Both times the coffee maker I received was worth a third of the price that I was charged for. As well as the fact that a superior was unwilling to talk to me.Review fromColleen S

1 starI ordered a small item online and all through the ordering process they did not show shipping costs. I looked everywhere and clicked all around before clicking the complete order and didnt see it so I assumed my total was the price shown. Only after confirming my order did I se a $7 shipping cost. Then there is no way to contact them to cancel. I called and at 8:30am they are still closed I was told by the robot. I will never order from them again. They obviously hide costs on purpose and that lacks integrity. I do not need any product from such a company.Review fromSarah E

1 starWilliams Sonoma doesnt honor their rewards points. They offer them and say youll receive them but that doesnt happen. They give you an email address in their store to inquire and its invalid.Review fromDanika C

1 starI ordered two upholstered arm chairs for my living room. This was my first time shopping with Pottery Barn, and will certainly be my last. The actual armchairs are beautiful and feel sturdy, but the customer service, shipping process, and timing were absolutely *************: timing: The armchairs were ordered in August 2024 -- promised to arrive in October 2024. I didn't have them both here until March 2025. I was charged for both armchairs in **********: shipping: I had multiple issues with the white glove delivery (not showing up at agreed time, and bringing the wrong item).re: customer service: I had at least 4 phone calls with Pottery Barn customer service agents. All of the agents were unresponsive, unapologetic, and illogical. One lied to me. They all kept saying "It's not our policy to . . . [insert any effort for customer satisfaction]". When I asked to speak to their manager, all of them would say that was impossible. When I nagged, I was promised "someone from the leadership team would call me back" and I received no call. After really pushing, I finally received a 10% refund (initially was told the best they could do was a 5% refund). They refused to refund the shipping charge ($350).It was bad business, and I am extremely disappointed. I would recommend staying away from this company.Review fromZachary S

1 starOrdered dining chairs and counter stools at the same time. We were told if we opted for white glove delivery our items would ship together, but if we opted for doorstep delivery, they would come separate. Since our custom counter stools were not estimated to ship for 6 months, we elected doorstep delivery to have our dining chairs within 2 months of ************* forward to past the estimated delivery date of our dining chairs, we are now informed both sets of chairs are estimated to be delivered at the 6 month **** and they were always going to be shipped together as this is the business practice. We were straight up lied, there is nothing that can be done and will never shop here again.Review fromTAMALA S

1 starDear Pottery Barn Corporate Office, I am writing this email today as an extremely frustrated customer. I placed an order for two cashmere and Linen **** diffusers on 11/30/24. I dont have an order # because someone on your team enter my email address incorrectly. You can locate my account with my phone number. I placed the order on 11/30/24. I received the order I received 1.5 bottle of diffuser. See picture attached. I ordered this scent prior from your store and the item that I received in this order was not the items I ordered. Seems like someone just slap a random label on a random bottle and called it the cashmere linen diffuser and they also thought it was ok to send a half a bottle instead of a bottle. I called pottery barn the day I receive the order 12/5/24 and emailed ***** pictures she apologized and send she would send me a return label and also sent out a replacement order. The replacement order was never fulfilled because your **** didnt have the item in stock for this entire year. I was told not to worry your team will process a full refund when they receive the items that I returned. You team received both items but somehow once again manage to s**** up and only process a refund to my CC for one item for $158. Ive since reached out to pottery barn 13 times trying to get my refund. I called on 12/5/24, 12/8/24, 12/18, 1/9/25, 1/12/25, 1/17/25, 1/20/25, 2/1/25, 2/10/25, 2/18/25,2/26/25 and 3/10/25. I was told at least 10 times that I would see the credit in 3-7 days or 7-10 days. When reach back out on 2/18/25 I was told that pottery barn would need to send me a PB credit for and it would be sent to my email. I reiterated that your team have my email incorrect. I was promise they fix the email issue and I would receive the credit via email and I would receive the credit by 2/26/25. When I didnt receive the credit then I call pottery barn again. Only to be told the credit was sent to the incorrect email. As of 3/28/25. No credit.Review fromJasper M

1 starMy experience with Pottery Barn (Williams Sonoma) has been an absolute nightmare. Save your time and shop at *************** I ordered something January 20th, and the estimated arrival at the store was supposed to be February 4th. I had not heard anything by February 16th so I gave pottery barn a call. I spoke with corporate and the store a couple of times trying to locate my item and have it escalated. It wasnt successful. I asked for a full refund for the item I never received! I have now spoken on the phone with Pottery Barn corporate and the store at least 5 times, and I have yet to get a full refund! At this point they are thieves. I would NEVER shop with Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn or West Elm again, and I will let anyone and everyone know not to shop with them. What a terrible experience, and I will continue shopping with Crate and Barrel (which Ive had great experiences with) going forward!
