1 starI am disappointed with my experience with this company. I decided to rent a car with **** for rideshare and when I got there to pick the car up I was told the key was broken so the owner had to switch me to another rental. The rental he switched me to broke down in the middle of the interstate I am terrified. I called the owner and I was told he will switch me to a better rental the next day I get into this rental and the check engine light was on the whole time. 1 starI recently rented a car through **** from a company named Sefal trade and I can tell you I have used this **** app in the past but never again. Starting off the front right tire and ball joint were zip tied together. Doing ride share thank god no one was in the car at the time because the ball joint came off leaving me stranded in the middle of the street in front of a school. Completely embarrassed at this point. I contacted **** to ask for a full refund and they have been completely unprofessional and still have not contacted me for a refund. Both Sefal Trade and **** have not reached out and I strongly recommend anyone to never use this app. No protection for customer.Review fromDavid M

1 starThis is the third time that they have a double charge my account in the same day to the point where I had to lock my car and file a complaint with the bank. This company is a scam and they have scam behavior. I am going to proceed with filing a complaint with the states, attorneys office and my bank. Theyre going to give me my money back. 1 starHorrible experience!!! They gave me a car filthy, with mechanical issues. I tried returning it and they said they dont take returns on Saturday. Had a flat tire, told me I was responsible for the replacement when the contract says the owner will take care of it. Returned the vehicle without damages. Days later got an email that a claim had been filed for damages. I provided photos of the vehicle with no damages at the time of the drop off. No response but keep getting emails asking me to sign the claim form. They also sent me an invoice for the key & cleaning fee. They have the key and a video of the jet been dropped off. The car was cleaned because I took it to the car wash before I dropped it off and although I provided all the proof, they are still trying to charge me. THERE ARE SCAMMERS!!! They are filing false insurance claims on behalf of the renters that are paid to them. Please report them and do not rent from them again!!Review fromA. W

1 starHyreCar requires a background check before you are able to rent through their platform. My background check was immediately rejected. When I called to get an understanding of why this happened, I was initially told that I had to check with Checkr, the company that did the background check. When I received a copy of my background check from Checkr, I noticed that a car accident was flagged for consideration but ****** made note that the record does not indicate fault nor is the decision to reject my background check made by Checkr. I once again contacted HyreCar to inquire about why my background check was rejected due to a no-fault accident and I was told that it is their company's policy to reject ALL records with car accidents within the past 7 years, regardless of fault. I asked SEVERAL TIMES where I could find this policy in writing because it made no sense to be discriminated against by HyreCar for a car accident that literally no one else punished me for BECAUSE I WAS NOT AT FAULT! Instead of being told where I could find the policy, I was basically told that HyreCar discriminates against everyone this way and if I don't like it then I should call the *** to have the accident removed from my record. So in order to rent through HyreCar, I apparently need to do a better job at hiding my NO-FAULTS! I asked why HyreCar goes through the trouble of requiring insurance for every reservation if it frowns upon all car accidents and apparently it's perfectly acceptable to play bumper cars only AFTER you've used the HyreCar platform. If I was hit at a red light a day after renting through HyreCar there would be no issue, but because I was hit at a red light FIVE YEARS AGO, I am doomed to damnation. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear HyreCar was just a front for insurance fraud.Review fromAnthony V

1 starI have been working with HyreCar approximately 5 years. In August of 2023 this lady wrecked my car and totaled it. ****** agreed to pay the car off. Its now December and they still have not paid the lean holder. *** had several cars damaged and in all cases it almost took 12 months for them to pay me. 1 starHorrible experience, they gave me the car filthy dirty and reported to HyreCar that I didnt clean the car because I returned the car due to the engine light being on I took the car to autozone they said the alternator was bad ! Shady company. Rented vehicle that was dirty, had very little gas upon pick up, and the tires were not in the best shape. Car was reported stolen during my rental period. Car was towed. Couldn't load docs to prove that I was renting it. Eventually got support to email the docs. Cost me $260, plus a day of missed work, plus a hotel room. Ended up plugging 2 tires. In 6 weeks, I paid out nearly $3000 in rental fees plus the cost of the towing and tires. Owner was rude, demeaning, and kept harassing me once I dropped the car off. Can't log out or end a rental in the app. Support takes forever to respond. Stay away from this company.HyreCar

The company is horrible about returning phone calls and/or assisting with any issues. I had a customer not return my vehicle and ********************** was of no assistance in helping me retrieve it so not sure why not just rent the car yourself to an individual vs paying them. For days I emailed and called without response. The individual wrecked my car. For a month straight I called Hyrecar on next steps. They gave me the run arounds and looked for reasons not to pay for the vehicle. This company is scam so please do not use. Go with **** as they have legit processes in place and actually respond when you call/email.HyreCar
