      I used their platform. They charge you for leads, but those leads never read your message, so they respond to you after you respond to their request. Thumbstack charges you for leads that are not real. Of the eight leads, not one responded. Im fine paying for leads as long as they are real. I complaint and they said they cannot do anything with its. Such service is like a scam.

      I genuinely believe a lot of leads on here are bots. Pros have to pay for leads who message them, which means if a bot selects the pro and the pro gets ghosted, the pro still pays for the worthless lead. This has happened to me so many times its not worth using the site. Not to mention I have been forced to pay for leads that dont match the description of what I said I would pay for!

      No alerts when you get a lead. No text, no phone call no nothing tonlet you know you have a direct lead that they automatically charge you for..... This is NOT the thumbtack from years ago...... We will no longer work with this business!

      Will never use thumbtack again. Two contractors from that app had no clue how to fix my washing machine. For one of the contractors, it took for me to leave an honest review to get a response after he left my house.

      Worst company ever. They charge you for leads fake leads, leads that ask if your hiring and leads trying to scam you. Don't waste your money. Quoted over 75 leads and received 1 job. They charged me over $250 for nothing.

      1 Star Misleading Promises and Unjustified Charges Thumbtack has been nothing but a disappointment. They keep charging my card for leads I never agreed to even after I hid my profile to stop the madness. One of the reasons I joined was because they claimed to be different from other platforms. Spoiler alert: theyre not. If anything, theyre worse.Whats especially frustrating is that they dont let pros actually see the lead details before charging. Youre basically paying blind, hoping the lead is even real or relevant. Thats just bad business. I expected transparency and fairness, but got the opposite.If youre a professional thinking of using Thumbtack save yourself the headache. Its just a money grab.

      Tried to look into working with them. Once I found out they charge for leads I was out. Didn't know I had to close account. They charged me money for leads even though I never agreed. Then they refused to refund the money I never authorized. Terrible company.

      this company is a scam. they decided it is ok to have a automatic opt-in service where they replace your online booking link with their own without your knowledge and a obscured e-mail that vagally tells you they are doing it. it takes 2 weeks or more for it to get removed. they allow customers to ask for estimates and the option to add 3 other pros with no obligation to respond ever and we all get charged for the lead fee. I got charged 100 bucks for a lead that even their own estimates price it at 259-dollar job average... are you kidding me. so, you think its ok to get close 2 40% of the estimated job cost???? run from this company

      Please be aware and do not enroll!!! I would rate them a zero star if I could. They are an absolute fraud, exaggerated fees for leads that do not reply and no customer service.

      DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We have two pro accounts set up and one is for gc work and one hvac. Well today a lead on one came up for $139.00 and the other pro account it was the same customer same work to be done and charged $298.00!! called customer service and they tried to talk their way out of it. Scammers. in the beginning the site was good but it is turning into another angis. ********
