    I was taken in by advertising for a Mediterranean Diet Program. I signed up for the three months for $39.99 diet along with an extra booklet (I thought) for $12.99. Without a warning that the purchase was non-refundable I was notified that purchase was complete without a final approval. Then it said I could download a tracking diet app. That is not what I thought I was purchasing. I realize now I should have. I immediately wrote to them and requested a refund and an immediate cancellation of the purchase.. They cancelled my subscription and now refuse to refund my purchase for the two items. They said I can use the app but I dont want it! They can disable it and I am fine with that.

    I am not sure if this is an app I purchased or my daughter signed up for. I have been getting charges on my account since December, 2024. Both my daughter and I have tried searching for the app but cannot get any information as to who has an account. The only information we have is these charges were made in *********, which is telling us this is a fraudulent transaction. I am also working with my bank to get the charges refund, but may prove to be difficulty. In addition, I will need to get a new bank card because of the fraudulent withdrawals.

    I was charged an unauthorized subscription fee for services through the Effecto App beginning in 12/2023. I contacted the company on 6/24/24 when I noticed the charge to inform them that I had not authorized their recurring subscription service (see documents). They confirmed which email address was connected to my account; I previously provided **********************************, for which they reported no known account with them, then I confirmed with them that my other email address, ************************* did indeed have an account linked to it (see documents). I made this contact by email on 6/24/2024 and they responded that my subscription had been cancelled on 6/26/******* my concern and deep frustration, I have just noticed that Effecto continued charging me without my authorization without ever canceling my subscription as they had stated. They have stolen an unauthorized $226.93 by ****** after confirming the cancellation of my subscription, which I never knowingly authorized to begin with. Please help.

    On December 3rd, I interacted with Medical Score website through an ad banner, operated by ***********, where I added an item to my cart and proceeded to the checkout. I selected ****** as my payment method, but before finalizing the purchase, I decided to change my mind and clicked the "Back" button to exit the checkout process. At no point did I submit or confirm the ******** my surprise, I later received an email notification confirming that an order had been placed. This was completely unexpected, as I had not completed the purchase or authorized the transaction.I immediately returned to the website to investigate the situation and attempt to cancel the order, only to find that there was no option available to edit or cancel the order within my account. This was a critical issue, as I was still within minutes of receiving the confirmation email, and I wanted to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.Frustrated by the lack of options, I attempted to contact customer support team through ******************************** However, I was unable to find a phone number or live chat option, and the only available method of communication was sending a message through the website. I sent a request asking for the order to be canceled, yet I received an email response stating that the order could not be canceled.When I submitted a dispute case with ******, I was shocked by this company's response. They boldly stated that no matter what actions I took, they would not issue a refund. To make matters worse, ****** was unable to assist, as they informed me that they do not offer protection for this type of situation.This entire experience has been deeply troubling, as it seems that the system allowed an order to be processed even when I had not completed or confirmed the transaction. Furthermore, the lack of accessible customer support options and failure to assist in resolving this issue has left me feeling both unheard and dissatisfied.

    App that makes it nearly impossible to cancel or see how or when youre being charged. No way to manage payment info without emailing them, to no avail. Sketchy practices all around due to lack of transparency. Yet companies are allowed to continue this predatory behavior without delivering on their product.

    9/24/24. Downloaded an app called brainway upon seeing advertisements for it posted on instagram. I was charged *****, either for the app or for one-time analysis of data I would supply using the app. I purchased this app via ******, which charged it to my CapitalOne Quiksilver credit card number. The merchant name shown on my credit card statement was ****** EFFECTO. 10/25/24. A charge appeared on the same credit card for ***** which I did not recognize or approve. I disputed the charge with ******, which said to contact the merchant. I called the merchant, who told me it was a recurring subscription I could cancel. I canceled but they refused to give me a refund. I e-mailed brainway and told them I did not order a subscription. They said they do not give refunds.I uninstalled the brainway app in light of this deceptive subscription practice, so I disputed the $***** and $***** with CapitalOne. It decided in my favor for the $***** but in EFFECTO's favor for the $*****. I sent ********** copies of the first three complaints on the ************************ website.

    I downloaded the MindWay app, created by Effecto via the Apple app store. signed up for the free subscription but soon after found that the app would not be effective in helping me. I cancelled my subscription and that was that. 6 Months later, I was charged on my ****** account $66.99. I have no proof of cancellation as it was only a free trial, and it was cancelled within the Apple Appstore. I've contacted the business, and they claim I need proof, and that this subscription was renewed. I filed a dispute with ****** as this is extremely unethical and since have found a plethora of reviews from other individuals claiming to have this exact experience. This business is scamming hundreds of people out of money and is extremely misleading in their advertising. I have no login information, and their website gives little to no information on how to contact them.

    I cancelled a service I never used on the day of renewal and was still charged the annual fee. Business refuses to refund even partial pmt for service never used.
