      Our business has used Eventbrite for many years to sell tickets to our events. We hosted an event for Black History Month on 2/24/24 and Eventbrite has yet to send us our payout. Every time our Executive director reaches out to event brite we are given the run around. At first, we were getting a response from one of their representatives now our emails bounce back and our phone calls are sent into some kind of area where we are sent to the same recording. This recording is of no help to us. We have even reached out to the founder with no response. Event brite has no way of talking to a person everything is done by email, which is ridiculous. This platform should not be able to keep the money of those who earned it. They also should have a way of talking to a live person.

      I got tickets for the 4th of July event which provided limited information. I called to find out about parking and i was told I would have to park in a lot and walk 15 minutes to venue with beachchairs. That is impossible to do since i am handicapped. First of all they said they would send ticket via email, never received and you can see by my email that I told them well in advance. I WANT MY REFUND ASAP!

      As an organizer I have scheduled payouts to be released three days after event. I have hosted on Eventbrite since 2022; this month of June I have hosted several events , June 16, 2024, June 19th, June 20th, June 22nd, and Just yesterday with no payout. I have reached out to them several times asking them where it is and they advise that they had to escalate the issue and have been investigating it. They went from telling me it could be resolved within 24 hours to then stating they dont know whats going on (chat support) as they cant see internal teams notes. They advised me they would reach out to me, I have not heard a thing but the same generated answer of will be in touch with you it is over 1k that is owed, and I have no updates or whereabouts as to where my payout it or when I will receive it.

      I purchased tickets to an event on July 15th and I received a confirmation email however I am unable to log into my account. I keep receiving an error message that says my account is suspended. I have reached out to their IT department and sent several emails. I received case IDs and no one ever responded. I have tried calling the customer service number and was hung up on. I tried to get refunded and I was told that it was not an option. I one explained why my account was locked or suspended no one tried to help whatsoever and now I have no tickets and Im out $66.76. I have bought tickets once from this app and never did anything else there is no reason my account should be suspended. It would be an easy fix Im sure to get me my tickets but no one bothered to help.

      I purchased 6 tickets and a t-shirt for an event on February 12, 2020, prior to COVID, for my husband's birthday. The event was cancelled and since then, it has been rescheduled and cancelled 3 times. over the last 3 years, I have contacted the organizer at least 20 times for a refund and reported the event to Eventbrite many times, all with no response! A year ago, the status for my Refund Request finally said Pending. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

      I signed up through EventBrite to take a class locally. On 6/21/2024, I received an email notification that the class was cancelled and my funds refunded. On 6/25/2024, I received 5 email notifications from my credit card company (Chase) that 5 additional charges of $25 each were made by EventBrite. These are invalid. I should have received a refund, not $125.00 of additional charges. The local company (Smile Herb Shop) has refused to help me with this issue and has fully blamed EventBrite.

      The Eventbrite website advertised tickets as a buy 1 ticket for $10, get 1 ticket free. However, my credit card was charged $25.02. I see on the receipt, I was charged twice for the 2 for 1 deal.On Eventbrite, when selecting the amount of tickets to purchase, there is only the option to purchase them in multiples. So, on the ticket amount selection, when you select the (+)plus sign, instead of adding 1 ticket, it adds 2 tickets, then 4, and so on. So there is no option to select only 1 ticket at a time. This makes it seem like you are purchasing the 2 for 1 deal, but really we are purchasing two 2for1 deals. This is deceptive and there is no customer service to contact via email, chat, nor phone. Only option is to send a note to the Organizer who may/may not respond. There is no way to hold anyone accountable on this website.

      Eventbrite sold me a ticket that ended up being fraudulent. The event described never happened with that event organizer company and I paid for my ticket through eventbrite. I contacted the organizer "Pub Crawls" and Eventbrite to which both were unhelpful. This complaint is for Eventbrite for not taking my request seriously, as this company is scamming people yet, still allowed to host on their website. They should be able to refund people if the organizer will not help with the refunds.

      Subject: Complaint Against Eventbrite **** Regarding Withheld Payout and Lack of Response Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Eventbrite **** concerning their withholding of my payout without any communication or reasoning provided. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue through emails, I have received no response from Eventbrite.On jUNE 4TH, I was supposed to receive a payout from Eventbrite for the pool party event I through. However, without any prior notice or explanation, Eventbrite has failed to release the funds to me. Since then, I have sent multiple emails to their customer support team requesting information about the status of my payout and the reason for its delay. Unfortunately, I have not received a single response or acknowledgment of my inquiries.This lack of communication and failure to provide a valid reason for withholding my funds is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. As a result, I have been left in a financially precarious situation and have lost trust in Eventbrites ability to handle transactions reliably and transparently.I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. My expectations are straightforward: I require Eventbrite to release the withheld payout immediately and provide a clear explanation for their actions. Furthermore, I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate this incident thoroughly to ensure that Eventbrite adheres to fair business practices and treats its customers with the respect and professionalism they deserve.Enclosed with this complaint are copies of all relevant documentation, including email correspondences and transaction records, to support my claim.
