      I am being discriminated against by the manager ********************************* at the marina ******* apartments in ******, ** along with the regional manager which is her friend her name is ***********************. I started my application process in March ******** was dishonest with me about receiving my employment verification for me to call my hr **** and them tell me they have already sent over the proof via fax April 15th. So she sat my file to the side instead of sending it off which could cause another candidate to be pulled for the units before me even though my paperwork was already ready in April. ******** emails me April 23rd to say she has received everything now that I have called my hr and her corporate office on her once i found out she is not being truthful. I have contacted her twice since she states my file has been sent over to compliance. It has been a total of three weeks and I cannot get a response out of her and compliance should have an answer by now. I have called corporate five times to speak to ****** about this and today I was told she isn't responding to the emails yesterday I was told they would call me once they talk to ****** and the compliance department I did not do anything to these people for this treatment the one time I talked to *********************** she made it very clear she was friends with ******************** but that does not mean they should be teaming up on me like this I am homeless with disabled children I never knew it to be this difficult to get a response from compliance because she is doing things she has no business and she is purposely trying to not give me a unit and it's not fair to be treated this way by them .

      The John Stewart Company, and apartments ********************************** has discriminated against me and ran an extensive credit and background check on me without my permission. I was harassed by an employee from the company one of The property managers in regards to that I was denying for an apartment **** Stewart and *********************** retaliated against me

      I'm filing a complaint on the office manager ************************ who failed to respond to my request of a new unit due to health reasons. Instead, she insists on confrontational meetings and is offended when I use the word "old" describing my apartment utilites to completely disregard the fact that it's torn down. Attached are photographs taken from inside my apartment this morning. We've had a cockroach infestation for over 2 years now after numerous attempts to get rid of them. The entire kitchen countertop and floor is surrounded with cockroach spray and pest control stuff so much so that it stinks of it and thinks it gets stuck to the spray itself. There's a gel layer inside of the apartment. The doors are broken down and have accumulated dust and dirt mites.There are different types of bugs living inside the house. The sinks and bathroom wall fixtures are completely outdated and have turned into rust. The ceiling lamp didn't replace the first one as you can see in the picture. Everything looks uneven and distorted. There are cockroach eggs laying inside of the over and utility household appliances. Can someone please do something? I am requesting a new unit URGENTLY. My father and I are immunocompromised. I've been getting recurrent infections from living here. I'm sure there is mold growing inside the walls from the numerous toilet leaks we've tried to fix. These photos were taken after numerous attempts to fix and tidy it up, however it's too unsanitary to clean since it has been accumulating dust for over 5+ years.

      This apt manager took my emotional support cat and others which had recently been returned by a ****** care provider. They were on their way to a friend's home;she has a kennel license. Then the manager came to the door, saying it was an emergency. I opened the door, she came in with an animal control officer. They took my valuable cats, including the emotional support cat. I need to get them back. It's very complicated. I'm planning on moving to another area next month and need my cat family back. Thank you.

      1. The manager @ ******************************* makes up her own rules and does not abide by the month to month rental agreements. Especially when it comes to vehicles parked in the parking lot at said property. Today she had my county incensed care giver's (cg) car towed out of pure meanness. My cg followed all the parking lot rules; but the manager still had the car towed. I watched helplessly while the car was being towed.2. They were refusing to repair a leaking toilet that I have until I contacted an outside agency to help me.3. The manager, *************************** has lied to me on several occasions and therefore cannot be trusted.The assistant director of John Stewart Company treated me disrespectfully when I went in to complain about the leaking toilet.The manager just looks for different ways to cause trouble for the tenants @ ******************************* and the assistant director of John Stewart Company encourages her to do so.Toilet is still leaking; but I'm reluctant to report it because I don't wish to hear the yelling and screaming nor do I wish to hear their lies.

      ******************* / ***************************** from John Stewart company called ************************** to complete repairs for their customers. Repairs completed October 2022. All our attempts to collect payment for completed jobs had been unsuccessful. This company just keeps ignoring our emails and all our requests to pay the balance. We are a small appliance company and our repairs are done on time . We hope that this company will take advantage of this last invitation to settle their open account and to avoid further damage to credit rating as well as the costs of any possible legal action. all unpaid invoices attached and sent by email many times in the past. It is very unprofessional behavior by *******************/*************************** from John Stewart Company.

      Management at the ************** in ****** have threatened me in regards to losing my housing. In addition to that my car has been repeatedly towed without me being informed and when asked the reason Im told I signed a lease agreement about keeping tags up to date to park in the structure. My neighbors car has expired tags as well and I feel since she isnt African American that they are more understanding with her. I would like for someone to contact me in regards to this. Im never able to receive any help here even with the maintenance man. The security guard that used to work here also has harassed me for my number numerous times and I dont feel this is a safe place it never really was and I shouldve gotten the hint when the first manager ******** quit. These apartments should not be leasing to anyone if they arent willing to treat everyone equally. I have a photo from 11/20/22 showing clearly that my neighbor has expired tags and is still parking in the structure. *** watched management physically point my car out and call the tow yard as soon as I arrive when trying to park quickly and when I came back down the tow truck was pulling in to get my car and luckily I was leaving. The first time it was towed I wasnt aware because there was only a sign with the wrong tow yards number on the building and when I mentioned it to the tow yard he said he would put a sticker with the right number so that doesnt happen again. I shouldve been notified and there should only be 1 tow yard number. I cant afford to keep paying for a tow when I am trying to get back on my feet from Covid-19 rent related issues and financial issues. I paid $1,185 the first time for my car being at the tow yard for 8 days and the first 2 days I didnt know because the police system was down so they couldnt tell me where my car was. I cant afford that amount its been there for weeks. I need an explanation and hopefully a refund for being targeted about parking here.

      On 8/17/22 I had an appointment ************************ assistant manager at 10:00 a.m about a available unit no waiting list I brought all my documents at that time . Seen a unit and asked if you were still interested yes of course one bedroom On 8/18/22 ************************* ran my credit check no eviction.On 8/24/22 I contacted ************************* she informed me that she couldnt verify my income do I have an I.D# .8/25/22 when I returned to work I sent ***** a copy of my # off my time card. On 9/2/2022 I called ************************* she informed me that she still couldnt verify and she was going to send it out so on 9/7/2022 I called ************************* she informed me she was out of the office until 9/9/22 at this time ************************* had not verified my income so I had to contact H.R at ******************* payroll supervisor to contact and email ************************* all this was completed on 9/12/22 On 9/16/22 I called ************************* she informed me that she hadnt added up my income yet and that I would be but on a waiting list it was first come first serve I informed her my paperwork has been there since 8/17/22 she said she sent a letter to my job for verification that wasnt true I informed ************************* that she didnt verify. I have proof of or conversation I am 54 years old and handicap I have tried contacting ** at **** Stewart corporation no phone call back Im asking BBB to looking into this matter Thank you

      On 5/23/22 I contacted ******* at Laurel ******* a (*******************************) property and asked her why a $2485 fee was on my credit report. ******* stated that she did not know and I needed to contact ******************************** credit collector I asked for the information and she said she would call me back. Weeks passed still no word from ********* would call every week no answer. I finally got ahold of ******* from my work number on September 8th she once again reassured me that she would get the number to their debt collector that same day. I waited and called ******************************* head quarters and left a message for the districts supervisor on September 9th asking for clarification as to what I did to cost $2485 in damages at my previous place. I have not received a call from anyone at **** Stewart I would really like to get this matter resolved.
