First I tried just topping up $1 since it seemed that the free trial was essential to put money so it really wasn't a free trial then they go ahead and not only charged me for $1 but a membership I never agreed to and can't seem to cancel. The functions don't even work and **************** is not to be seeing. TOTAL SCAM!!

I signed up for a trial about a week ago with some additional fees for extra numbers. On May 15 I got an email from them saying my account had been blocked:"After conducting a thorough investigation, we have identified suspicious activities and/or complaints regarding your phone number."I only made one test call (to my husband, who was in the same room at the time), so I don't see how this can possibly be true. I've reviewed the terms of service thoroughly, and I'm confident I did not violate them. Even a cursory ****** search suggests this is a pervasive pattern of behavior from OpenPhone, and I've heard nothing from my repeated requests for support. The number listed for contact is actually busy.I went to great trouble to begin changing my email signatures, websites, and other references to numbers in an effort to jump start a freelance venture...and now that's made me look like a moron due to some vague claim about fraud or suspicious activity. I am who I say I am and now -- since I can't log in to see the activity -- I have no way to independently verify this. They refused to elaborate:"As a result, we won't be able to continue offering OpenPhone's services to you, per our Terms of Service. Please note that your subscription has been canceled, and you will not be charged from this point forward. We understand that this news may come as a disappointment and apologize for any inconvenience."Pretty weak and they should probably feel pretty ashamed.Their conduct here is heinous, and I will not let the take the money/numbers and run. I'm not having it.My numbers will need to be ported (more on that in resolution), and those numbers are:?**************??**************??**************?

Some time in March I noticed that I was unable to send texts. When I contacted OpenPhone, they informed me that I had to register my number so that upstream carriers won't flag my number. I completed the form, and have no idea of the status since they never followed up about whether it's been completed. They simple said it would take some weeks.Anyway, this month. they send another email instructing customers to "Register to continue sending SMS to ** phone numbers"...Since I already did this, I contacted them to check on the status, and to also know if I had to do this for my non-toll-free number as they previously informed me. They have not responded, but have remined me to complete the process. I ALREADY completed the toll-free verification and was told that I did not have to do anything for my non toll-free line. It is unclear is the process I completed has to be done for my other number or if it covers my account all together.

This complaint is with ref to my openphone account assosiated with email id *********************,I purchased two numbers from my partner in ***** and he asked me to port the same, so i chose openphone as a provider and moved my numbers there around December 2021. Its more than 12 months and my numbers were safe with me. As per my partner agreement we decided that he will pay for the numbers till Feb 2023 and later on i will pay. He paid for the numbers using his International enabled credit card(I purchased numbers from him in nov 2021). He called me ** in feb 2023 and we had an argument as he was demanding money from me for these numbers again so i informed my provider (openphone) regarding the same on 22/02/2023 via an email and they acknowleged the same that without my persmissions no changes will be done in my account. Last week on march 8,2023 suddenly my numbers disappeared from my account and immediately i contacted openphone and they said "based on some investigation they have given the access of those numbers to my partner" , they didnt even confirmed even a single thing from me. My numbers were registered on telegram , whatsapp and with my bank accounts. That person is miss using my numbers now. I am chasing openphone since last Wednesday and till now i havent received any reply from them. My business is affected alot due to this.Without my permission and authentication they stole my numbers , These numbers are super VIP series and i am suffering a lot and there is no one to support me right now. Since 12 months that person didnt contact them but one day he contacts and provides his card statement and they transfer these numbers to him. Who will bare my losses and all the problems i am facing due to their negligence. Please look into this matter ASAP I have attached my address proof mentioning my details and the same details are available on OPENPHONE invoice as well. I need my numbers back to my account with compensation from openphone

On October 24, 2022, I signed up for a free trial for a second mobile phone line with OpenPhone on its website (www.openphone.com), at which time the company collected my credit card information. After I consistently couldn't login to my "free" account, I requested in writing that the company discontinue my "free" trial and not bill my credit card. The company's representative, ***************************, in writing promised me that the company would return even the $1 that they put in hold on my credit card. However, on November 2, 2022, OpenPhone billed my credit card for $120 without providing any services to me and discontinued communicating with me. I have screenshots of all my communications with OpenPhone.
