1 starI created an account and at some point the registration page froze and I refreshed it to get it to work. Ever since, it will not allow me to login, "invalid payment method", and when I try to create another account, "There is already an account with your creds"... Contacted the support an got this email:"We have recently reviewed your usage of Dialpad services, as reflected in our records. As a result, we've placed a permanent limitation on your account and we regret to inform you that we can no longer offer you our services. If you have questions regarding this decision, please note that we do not divulge our decision-making criteria in order to protect the systems that monitor activity on Dialpad.******* **********.Billing Support Representative, Tier 2 I wish I could leave NO stars."God bless MagicJack"Review fromBecky O

We started using Dialpad in January of 2024. As the year ended, we decided to switch our service due to our phone service not being consistent as well as features such as Call Forwarding and Voicemail not working the way they should. We had contacted customer service regarding these issues but their solution was to turn other features we needed off to get the others to work. It is quite a process to get everything switched over to a new company. I called in to Dialpad once I knew the phones had been switched to the new company and working properly. They told me I was 5 days past our renewal date. That I should've received an email 60 days prior to that renewal date to let us know about the renewal. I let them know that I did not get an email and could they please cancel as their service was not being used any longer and failed our needs as a customer. Plus it was literally 5 days past the date. To make it short, they said no and that we had been renewed for 3 more years! I have been talking with many different people with Dialpad to help get us out of our agreement. I did get one girl to go down to one year but that is still $235 a month for something we don't use. As a small business, we can't afford that charge for something we don't want or use. So here I am a month later still trying to dispute the auto renewal and they aren't responding. Of course, they did charge our account without hesitation. So now we have canceled our card and filed a dispute with the cc company. I have never had such poor service or little response from a company. I would highly suggest NOT using them for your phone system.Dialpad

1 starWas working with Dialpad for 3 years, absolutely loved them. Was using it while i was travelling and contacted a few clients (the same 3 ones) and also my family. Recently there was a law put in place to prevent spammers from texting. My company also stopped because I got employed instead, but wanted to continue using Dialpad while i travelled. I submitted a form back in July 2024 and have had error after error. They tell me on the phone that I need to create a website for a company that no longer exists and to create a fake company to get Dialpad to work... I don't want to get rid of Dialpad but I guess all good things must come to an end. The customer service *** said I could text friends and family but I originally registered it as a company so I would be forced forever to use it as that company.Review fromJay H

1 starWe signed our company up for services and they charged us for onboarding services that we did not need their onboarding team kept insisting we needed to port an existing number into their system from our CRM system - the bottom line is the onboarding team would not listen to us and they certainly were not experts in understanding our business needs. The onboarding system was so frustrating and ultimately, we lost complete faith in their capabilities and told them we no longer wanted to move forward with their services and they insisted that we could not cancel our 3-year contract when we had never used their system or the phone number they finally gave us after we had to convince them we did not need or want to port our existing number. A complete debacle and lack of competency in their onboarding process - we paid initial fees and onboarding charges and now they insist our reason for canceling does not meet their criteria - what a joke. Complete lack of ownership or accountability on their part. We canceled the ach payment and will not pay their monthly charges simply from a principle standpoint.Review fromMicah C

1 starWhat can I say, luckily we signed on for a 3 year contract with these guys. We are a small company (<100 users) and we have 80 tickets a month about Dialpad issues. Every issue the company says is our fault. Dropped calls, sound cutting out, headsets muting themselves, call recording failures (particularly on transferred calls) etc. They won't help us and say it is something on our end. Judging by these reviews on this page, this is not an isolated incident. Their Proof of Concept was great. Over-promise and under-delivery. Avoid this company as if they were ***.Review fromAna M

1 starI attempted to utilize Dialpad provide me with a phone line for marketing my profession, as well as to send text messages. Initially, I signed up for the free plan, but I was informed that the free plan didn't offer all the services I needed. Therefore, I decided to pay $220.44 for the whole year on 15th April 2024. However, when I tried to access the text messaging service, I was informed that I needed to have a company or an LLC with an EIN number. Additionally, I was required to make additional payments and incur high costs. I immediately requested to cancel the service and asked for a refund. However, I haven't heard back from them, since 22nd April 2015. They haven't canceled my account, they don't answer the phone, and they don't respond to my emails.Review fromDarius D

1 starWe are a small real estate team that attempted to utilize Dialpad for our outbound sms and calls for showings. In the latter part of our services, texts were being denied and failing to go through. Upon getting support on the line, they were unsure of the issue and ultimately had to send it for research, weeks past and we were without the service for almost a month before a resolution was received. This resolution was a pointed finger at our registration campaign which, we were told initially was approved. And this still was not the resolution. We decided to move our services/ phone number elsewhere and cancel our plan. We ported the number out which took a few weeks and unfortunately they would not issue a refund for the unusable months. Support loves to close tickets before they are resolved and will never call you with any help. Its always We have to escalate to another department for research.Review fromJuliette K

1 starHave been trying to cancel with this company for a MONTH! Every time I follow their instructions for cancelation I get a notice that no one is available and I will be contacted in *********************************************************** another month. Now I am fighting with them for a refund. I had to tell them I had a "billing issue" to actually speak with someone. As soon as they thought they wouldn't get paid they sent me to an agent.Review fromMelanie M

1 starBEWARE before you sign anything with them! We signed for 30 users and they put the contract on auto-renew, without our permission. Even though we only had 10 users, we paid the very high rates and just sucked it up for a year. Our contract auto-renewed this week and I tried immediately to reduce it to the 10 licenses that we have ever used. First of all, it was a nightmare ever even reaching someone - pretty funny that someone selling phone services doesn't have a phone number to reach them. After great effort going back and forth online I finally got a guy on the phone. I explained what happened and that I needed to reduce the licenses from 30 to 10. After being on hold multiple times, he told me no. Apparently in the fine print, they say you can only change the amount by notifying them in writing 30 days in advance of contract renewal. And this is effective for a whole additional year. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one was available. The next day, a different person emailed me saying it was impossible based on the contract. I asked to speak to a manager. She said she'd have her manager contact me the following day. Instead, she emailed me the following day to say no change. I can't get in touch with anyone and VERY FRUSTRATED and feel RIPPED OFF AGAIN.
