    I have made multiple attempts to request the removal of information on their website and reached out the their customer support through their contact us form. It has been close to a month now and I have neither received a response nor has my information been removed. I am pretty certain that displaying my personal information without my permission is a violation of the California Consumer Privacy Act.

    I cannot reach IDcrawl for them To remove my picture. They ask me to check a box for them to remove my picture but my picture isnt connected to a box to be checked. They have no number or email for you to ask questions. Everything is done on their website and you have to check a box to get a response.

    ************************** is a data broker with photos and personal information. I found myself on their website and used their form to request that my information be removed. I got a confirmation email that it would be removed promptly. Over two months later, no action has been taken, despite repeatedly filling out the removal form and trying to contact them directly.

    ID Crawl is a source of a People Search site that allows people to conduct searches that may carry your full name, partial name, or alias -- connecting them with social medial profiles, also. I do not carry social media profiles simply for the purposes of security and identity measures. ID Crawl has the option to 'Opt Out' but unfortunately, they're not responsive and the removal submissions don't seem to have taken on affect yet when I prompted them. They may respond, they may not -- I read but if BBB could assist to provide or communicate with their team to allow me properly disconnect my information from their site, would be greatly appreciated.

    I have requested that my image and place of employment be removed from their site. I am domestic abuse survivor and their site lists my place of employment. I am concerned for my safety. They refuse to remove it.

    I have followed the idcrawl opt out process and they still have not removed my info. Ive tried emailing a couple times and my emails go ignored. This is violation of FL opt out codes. I am involved in a child custody dispute and it is a major privacy concern, they are not complying by removing my record. My next step will be a cease and desist.     The ************ Protection Regulation (GDPR) that was enacted in May 25, 2018 transformed the digital landscape by broadening data privacy for internet users and stakeholders across the world. To comply with ****, many ethical domain name registrars began enrolling their customers into free WHOIS privacy services by defaulting to redacted key data such as the domain name registrant's name, phone number, address, and other personally identifying information. The ********** that IDCrawl LLC has decided to utilize without my consent was extracted from a historical **********base prior to 2018 that was openly displayed and accessible to the public. The internet was a different space then, namely there was a significantly lower volume of sophisticated cyber crime and GDPR was not yet law. According to Statista, cyber crime costed the United States $19.4 billion in 2017, and the costs associated with cyber crime rose to a staggering $320 billion in 2023. ******* reports that the collective global cost of cyber crime has skyrocketed from $860 billion in 2018 to an astonishing $8.44 trillion in 2022. There is a reason why the internet has moved towards the ********** of individuals being hidden and why ********** is no longer automatically classified as public information.
