On April 21, 2022, I sent an email to Gravity Med Spa, explaining the following: About my recent visit: I was shocked to see my bill was over $2,000! I went to gravity expecting to get a really good deal purchasing 40 units of Botox + a half syringe of filler. I had seen a promotion for purchasing botox + filler which should have been about $850 to $1,000 total. When I made appointment I mentioned my jowls for POSSIBLE filler, plus botox in crows feet and between eyebrows up to 40 units **** What ended up happening, was the nurse advised / persuaded me to get ************** in my lips, *********** which was not what I wanted, nor was it explained to me how expensive it would be. Nurse never said she would be using SO much filler or how much it would COST or HURT. I didn't authorize this. And the excessive filler added over $1,000 to my bill. (UPDATE: It is NOW April 1, 2023 - and exactly one year later. I STILL experience pain from the chin filler). Following the injections at Gravity Med Spa, on or around April 1, 2022, my face swelled up and the **** in my lips and chin was unbearable. I hoped a nurse would call me that night or next day to make sure I was ok. Never received a call. I had to take pain meds, valium and apply ice just to sleep & not feel pain. I was never told the pain would be so intense or that the filler would be so obvious & lumpy. I would have DECLINED ALL SERVICES. Eventually the manager responded and said nurse would like to call me. ***** called & was VERY defensive as opposed to kind & compassionate. They asked "What can we do to make it right?"" I asked for a refund but never received one. Over past year, I almost gave up asking for a resolution, but I believe patients should never be overcharged or injected with products and treatments they did not need or request I STILL feel the lumpiness in my chin from the filler I never wanted. It's a reminder of a horrible and expensive experience that was never resolved or "made right"
