    Scam! Please don't book from this service. ******* booked an appointment for home cleaning and asked for a $150 deposit and noone ever showed up or called to reschedule. Since then no one has responded to my calls and messages. My deposit was never returned back.

    We had an appointment scheduled for maid services from this company that were never provided. The contact was a no call no show. We tried to contact the company but the number was disconnected. We also emailed and have not received a response. A refund was requested from cash app and is pending review. I am requesting my ****** deposit back. I also tried to contact the owner *************************** through Instagram on today. The money was submitted to Cash App which is still pending.

    Company is a scam they take peoples money and then no show for the job. Then when asked they lied said the housekeepers were there then blocked me! I paid a $100 deposit and want my money back and for this lady to be shut down

    I booked the Melanin Maids last Friday, and paid them a deposit of $120 via Apple Pay. They never showed up to clean, nor have they contacted me back about issuing a refund. I have reached out multiple times, only to go to their Yelp page and leave a review. I found that they are running this scam on everyone.

    On 6/21/22 I sent a deposit in the amount of $120.00 to *************************** via ***** to secure my appointment of a detailed house cleaning on 7/5/22 she was a no call no show and has yet to return my calls or any messages or refund my money. I searched on yelp and was surprised that this is something she does frequently.

    Hi, we have searched for residential cleaning companies in ********* and come across several, choosing to go with a cleaning company advertised as Melanin Maids, a ********* Company or company offering cleaning services in *********, and decided to choose them. The person on the text message wrote from a ********** number ************* and provided Zelle and Cashapp ($melaninmaids1) payment details belonging to *************************** ( and was specifically given in the text messages) whose is supposedly the own. Upon a deeper look into the company, they are actually registered in East ********** but are scamming potential customers on the east coast out of deposits for cleaning services that they could never provide being such a distance away. Any review ************** etc) have numerous reviews concerning this. Cashapp cannot refund money which ranges from $100-300 per deposit! Im not so much worried about the $100, more the fact that this company has apparently been reported by numerous customers in the past and no one has done anything. A search of the Cashapp tag $melaninmaids1 leads directly to the company registered or advertising as melanin maids in East ********** I am requesting a refund, not just to me but also ALL the people were scammed.
