      This company preys on young children who are under 18 by asking them to agree to terms and conditions of signing up for their online drivers ** class which binds them to a $5 per month subscription until you cancel. After 10 months, I finally realiz** that I was being charg** this amount and I am demanding a refund.This company fraudulently buries this subscription in their details and doesn't require a parent to sign off on the transaction but then we are bound to these charges? We allow** our kids to purchase the course not to purchase an online roadside assistance program. No where does the company email the parent with the ** that these charges are occurring. This is deceptive business practices and the company knows it as they have a cancel the $5 charge as an automat** line on their automat** voice system.I walk** with **** on March 18 at 3:15 pm and was told they do not offer any refunds.I am demanding a refund for the $5 of charges that have been occurring since May 2024. These are unauthoriz** charges and deceptively taking advantage of all kids who are under 18 and ne** to take the online drivers course.Thank you!

      As an online drivers education provider, we ensure that both students and their parents are fully informed about our discounts and payment options at the time of purchase. We provide the opportunity for them to choose whether to opt in or out of these options based on their preferences.

      At the time of purchase, we advertise the option to choose a discounted price for the customers intended course, which includes a complimentary 30-day subscription to Allstate Roadside Assistance. On the same page, directly beside this option is the option to purchase the course at full price, with no subscription included. The free trial for roadside assistance can be removed by the customer before they purchase the course on the checkout page if they initially opted into it. We disclose before and after purchasing the course that after the initial 30-day free trial, there will be a $5 monthly charge for the service unless canceled. 

      Each customer is able to cancel the charge within their course or by contacting us via phone, email, or text. Additionally, our help center has articles exclusively about cancelling the charge.

      This is unacceptable as it was never made aware to the adult with the ** that they were purchasing Roadside assistance. What would be the point of offering Roadside assistance to the child who is taking a drivers ** course that isn't even allow** to drive for that month. This is clearly a scam that is all over yelp as to the number of people who have been trick** out of these monthly charges. This company preys on younger children who ne** to access their parent's cr**it cards to pay for the ** ******* Then they do not email the parent that these charges are being made but instead only email the child. This company hopes that the charges will go unnotic** as it has for me and many others. This company should be ding** for its scammy and shady business practices.  This response is NOT acceptable. A full refund for all the months charg** without my knowl**ge would be.

      We understand your concerns and want to assure you that we take multiple opportunities to inform both students and parents about the available options regarding the Roadside Assistance trial. We strongly encourage students and parents to set up a parent account, which allows guardians to stay well-informed of their child's progress and any active subscriptions. Additionally, details about the trial are included in our terms and conditions at the time of purchase, ensuring transparency at every step. 

      As of 3/20/25, there are no active subscriptions. The subscription mentioned was cancelled on 03/18/2025, and an amount of $20.00 was refunded. We have made the additional refund of $30.00 on 3/20/25, which will be reflected in the associated bank account within 5-7 business days.

      This company advertised themselves as easy and convenient. This experience has been everything but. I paid this for my son to get his learner's permit, $43, and every click takes you to a page asking for more money. An unsuspecting customer can easily be fooled into paying more. I called IDRIVESAFELY to clarify what I paid for, and was directed to go directly to the examination. As my son proceeded to finally get what I paid for, where he has 3 attempts to pass, he was logged off the examination and required to pay more. This experience aside from being costly, has been frustrating. The constant request for more payment, when what we paid for was an exam, 3 attempts to be exact, and not allowed to complete one isn't ethnical and extremely deceitful.

      We are more than happy to provide clarification on this parents purchase. I have reviewed the customers sons account and have confirmed that they paid $43.00 to take the Florida Permit Exam through our website. Although we facilitate the purchase for this exam, the ******************************************************* (FLHSMV) administers it through their online portal. They have strict rules, which are provided in detail within the students account before the exam can begin. This includes not leaving the testing page once the exam begins.

      The students first attempt at taking the exam resulted in failure due to the student leaving the testing page. This is the message provided to us directly from the FLHSMVs system.

      The FLHSMV allows individuals to take the exam a maximum of 3 times online. Each individual exam attempt has to be paid for, as is required by the FLHSMV, whether they take the exam online or in person. The customer will need to pay for another attempt if they wish to take it online again.

      We are unable to provide a refund since the exam was already attempted and the student received a grade.

      The service advertises being available to those wishing to lower insurance premiums. I checked with my insurance provider and they do offer discounts for defensive driving courses. I took the course voluntarily. When the certificate was issued for completion insurance would not accept it because the language didnt say voluntary, it said court:other, implying I took those due to court order. When I completed the intake questions after purchasing there was no option to select voluntary taking the course, all prompt questions implied a court order was a requirement, against the advertised service of offering voluntary certificates. I contact the company for a revised certificate (and advertised service) but they repeatedly said they could not amend the certificate. They also wont issue a refund because I completed the course and an (unusable) certificate was issued.

      The state of "**************" does not allow us to alter our certificates and therefore we can not resolve the matter. The student has been refunded $49.95 amount as of 1/14 which is the total of their course and shall be reflected in their back account within 5 to 7 business days.

      I have paid a monthly service premium for years for roadside assistance and then this weekend had a blowout. Not only was it an absolute nightmare to get someone on the phone to even attempt to get help. They could not find my subscription and ultimately, I had to pay $70 for roadside service that should have been covered. NOT only that but I do NOT see how ***** hours is considered a reasonable response time for an EMERGENCY roadside repair. Called in this morning to try to resolve got someone who spoke little English who also could not find the subscription and request I send a SS of the latest payment refused to transfer me to billing so they could do a reverse search on the payment to find the account. Basically I got a hey sorry were really good at taking money we just don't know what account were sending it to after and I guess I am expected to just continue to pay the fee since they cannot find where it is billing to cancel it. ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!! Looking like I will have to cancel my CC and order another one to stop the fee's.

      I purchased a safe driving course 7-16-24 i was supposed to receive a certificate by mail within 5-12 days, i haven't received it after 22 days. i have left review, they responded with their website address, I've tried calling without success. there isn't a way to contact them by email as far as i can tell

      According to their website the certificate was supposed to be mailed to me, I have never received it. The certificate was not available on the date the say it was generated, the website stated I would have to pay extra for an electronic delivery, I did not pay for it. The company's response time to this complaint tells the tail, this is a sub 1 star company and I would advise consumers to stay away, I wish I would have looked at the rating before I purchased the product.

Additionally, a PDF version of the certificate, which was processed upon course completion on 7/19/2024, was sent via email.

      As part of our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, we highly value the experience our customers have with our courses. To ensure the customers full satisfaction, we have processed a refund of $14.50 on 2/7/2025.

      When i signed my daughter up for drivers education the fine print that I did not see enrolled me in $5 a month roadside assistance that i have been paying since July 2021. i just noticed. i looked on yelp and many others have complained about the same thing. I know I should have been reviewing my credit card bill better but...I not alone in being stupid and not looking. I think they should somehow be punished. i called to cancel and complain. they canceled and gave me a $30 refund but i think that is a drop in the bucket compared all the others they are billing without knowing about it.

      The parents spoke to an agent yesterday on 4/5/24. They were informed of the promotional trial they signed up for when purchasing the course. "Our records indicate the reason why you were being charged each month is that when you signed up for the course under ******************************* - ***********************************, you claimed the promotional discount price with Allstate roadside services. Our website states that after the free 30-day trial is up, a monthly charge will be applied unless the service is cancelled. This is the only way to receive the discounted rate. Otherwise, the customer will have to pay the full price for the course."

      We have reviewed their account and have refunded the total charges for the confusion. This is a total of $190.

      Went to purchase ******** Teen Drivers Education, with the 5.00 Allstate roadside assistance , including the extra practice questions. During check out I filled out all my debit card information and hit continue , then it said at the top "An error occurred while processing your request. Please try again." and a second later I got a notification from my bank stating that ***** is pending and the form still wants me to hit continue. At this point if i hit continue there will be an additional ***** hit my bank and I will be charged twice. If there is any kind of error it should not be billing customers especially if they can not continue and it wants you to hit it again....Support is already closed at 4:30 central time.

      My daughter *********************************** signed up with the website to do her drivers ed ********************* She completed the course about 2 weeks ago and paid extra to get the certificate same day of completion. The company says they are having issues with only GA DDS and cannot send the certificates to them. They will not transfer me to a supervisor and will not offer a solution to get the certificate. I need help so figure out how to get my money back or get the COMPLETED certificate that she worked really hard on. Please help me with this request.

      The parent contacted us on Monday Nov 6th. This request has been escalated to our tier two (supervisor) team. They will be taking care of the issue from here. 

      The student was informed the issue is with the Georgia DDS and not with our company:
      This is to inform you that the Georgia DDS is having problem with the certificate processing. The servers are running low and they are having delay in generating the certificates. They are working with the state to resolve this issue and will process completions as soon as they have access.
