I made a reservation for a **** Mach-E car in November 2021. The expected arrival date was unclear but anywhere in the next 6 months. I was able to put a $500 deposit down on the car and was able to monitor when it was being manufactured, delivered, etc. The car was delivered to the dealer on 6/27 and got a call that the car arrived but they were not able to sell it to me yet because of a recall. The car reservation includes a VIN and everything. I called for updates weekly to see when I can come get the car and continually was not getting an update. I am now able to see that the car was sold on my ford.com account but it was not sold to ME. I called **** corporate and they notified me that they sold the car to someone else. The dealership has not been truthful to me this whole time and has not given me a refund of my deposit even. They clearly sold my car to someone else at a larger profit without regard to my reservation agreement.
