I entered into an agreement with this company to reduce ***t. I've been paying them monthly fees of $10, plus they take a fee of 25% of the balance of the *** they are negotiating. On my first "settlement," the ***t enrolled in their program was $600. They advised me to stop making payments to my credit card, which I did, and which resulted in harm to my once-good credit report and a higher ***t, now at $745. They negotiated a settlement with the credit card of $447, but then charged me the 25% fee for a total of $147, which means I paid them *TWICE* (monthly fee + settlement fee) and ended up back at the same amount I owed to begin with. In other words, I the customer received NO VALUE for the fees I paid them, and also suffered damage to my credit report. I still have three credit cards enrolled with them for more than $15k. I spoke to a customer service agent, who explained the estimated settlements + their 25% fee, which will result in nearly the same situation...their fee + settlement amount will put me close to the original amount I owed to begin with. She said that after completion of the program (at least three years from now) if they see that they haven't provided enough value for me, they will refund some of those fees. I'm not going to rely on their "good intentions.:" They need to provide actual value for the hefty fees I'm paying them. Desired settlement would be both Billing Adjustment AND Refund.

Last year was difficult, I've relocate to **********. Looking for jobs. My bills was climbing up. I decided to look up debt relief programs. I came across freedom relief. I called the number spoke to someone and explained my circumstances. They said they can work with me to carry my debt down and i will only have to make a payment of $490. Per month with a $10 monthly fee. And they will negotiate with my creditors. I sign up with them for 23 thousnd dollars from $37 thousand amounts they said i was owning. They told me to leave everything in their hands. From that time they only settled with one creditor. They arranged to pay the creditor. $245 a month. They send me email stating if I need work done faster I must pay more funds. And my next estimate settlement is in 2026. I call in an told them that's a long way off. My credit is at an all time low my fiance and I gonna be looking into getting a house. I told them I'm gonna cancel and negotiate with my creditors myself. I will need my funds in my dedicated account. The representative said after they take out their fee the balance will return to me. That was a month ago. No money return in my account. I call and spoke to another representative today and ask about my funds she said after their fee nothing left. On the app I saw they took out $575 for the one settlement. I really need my funds to help to settle my outstanding balance on my credit cards. I've reach out to them explained my situation and my creditors are willing to work with me . I need freedom debt to give me back my funds so i I can continue keeping my word and the arrangements I have made with my creditors. Freedom Debt Relief appears to be a shady company who's out to rip consumers off. I told the representative I'm going to contact the BBB so they can do right by me.Thank you.****** *****-******.

I have never once contacted this company nor have I seemed out debt relief help. Yet, this company has called me over 10 times a day, from a different number each time, nonstop for weeks. This company is not legitimate. They are scammers and are illegally harassing people daily. They need to be investigated and possibly shut down. It is against the law to harass and spam call someone that many times daily.

Freedom Debt Relief has been spam calling me multiple times a day for the last week from several different phone numbers, without any option to stop receiving phone calls or to be placed on a do not call list. The number of phone calls in one day is outrageous and disruptive. Ive searched the website a solution as well and cannot find one.

Freedom debt relief refused to reach out to *************** on the third account I had with them. They had negotiated the other two. As a result *************** turned the account over to a debt collector who filed a lawsuit. Freedom Debt Relief told me not to worry, their attorney partner would take care of it. However the attorney partner did not negotiate a settlement before the date the court specified and is now wanting me to pay them additional money in order for them to file a response to avoid a default judgement being set against **** have spoken at length with both Freedom Debt Relief and their attorney partner in order to get this resolved promptly. On Feb 28 I was told via email from the attorney partner that an offer had been submitted and they expected the settlement within a week. Weeks later nothing. Now it's March 10 and a response must be filed by March 13 to avoid the default judgement.

So far they have taken my money each month and have done nothing to resolve the problem. The latest issue is i sent them statements ensuring they have the correct documents they need by certified mail and got confirmation back that they received them, but they say they have yet to receive them. The DOCUMENTS were sent out on the 31st of DEC.2024. To me this seems that no one cares about what is right. I hope this is not a SCAM!!
