I was in the process of purchasing my domain and this company stole my information and purchased it. I thought it was a mistake so I tried again today and it was not. They purchased it yesterday the sametime I was online working on my purchase.

      Business response

      01/26/2022

      Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. It sounds like another customer purchased the domain just before you completed the checkout process. I can understand those instances can be frustrating - however, as you are aware domain registration is first come, first serve. There are no guarantees or warranties during the registration process.

We can confirm it was a client and not Dynadot. Should you wish to contact the registrant to directly you can do so with this link:
      https://www.dynadot.com/domain/contact-request?domain=ibreathecurls.com

Please note: We cannot confirm whether the client will reply back.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I have a trademark and LLC 9n the domain they registered. Also, I spoke with *********************** at DN Protect Support regarding thi. He said they (domain squatter (***)) did this "in bad faith" and he confirmed it.
      Sincerely,

      Giovanninna Hinestroza

On Nov 1 around 23:00, I purchased a .com domain from Dynadot, immediately upon check out I have found the final price I paid is different from the price originally displayed. Which I have found in the other details, Dynadot has secretly added my expired domain into the order(7189889) and renewed it for 2 years without my permission. Shortly, I have tried to reach their customer support team via chat 2 times, by explaining the expected domain renewal along with the new domain purchases. And I expressed my request to cancel the renewal and due to this issue I no longer trust this company, so I would also like to cancel the new domain registration in a timely manner. The support declined my request and refuse to admit their issue. Leaving me to have to pay for the price they have made.

      Business response

      09/20/2022

Response: We are sorry to hear that a renewal order was submitted by mistake, but wanted to confirm that our system does not automatically add items to the shopping cart. In fact, we rarely provide in-cart offers and when we do, you have to explicitly click a button to move the item to your shopping cart. If you previously added the domain renewal to your cart and did not remove it, our system would keep the item in your cart. The total checkout price would also reflect the domain renewal cost alongside anything else you added before the payment page (before completing the order).

Upon reviewing your account, it appears we did recommend you contact our orders team to get the domain renewal canceled when you chatted with us on 12/1/21 22:08 and 12/2/21 01:44. Unfortunately, our records do not show an email from you with the cancellation request.

The company is using my first and last name as a registered domain name. I used to own it, and now someone else is using it with malware and I can't get my domain name back. Again, the domain name is my first and last name, and you guys or a third party that you gave access to are using my name for illegal purposes. You can't use my legal name as domain name without permission.

We have responded to the complainant on 2021/10/26 and 2021/10/31 with our trademark policy as included below:

I do apologize but our policy would be to advise you to submit a complaint with ICANN through the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP):

As an ICANN-accredited registrar, we will follow the outcome set by ICANN.

Dynadot stole the domain Paymation.com from my account.Dynadot sold this domain to me in an expired auction on September 22, 2021.The sale finalized and the domain was moved to my account on September 25, 2021.As the new owner of the domain, I proceeded to invest time and money in developing and marketing the domain.Weeks later, on October 12, 2021, Dynadot stole the domain from my account with no prior notice or discussion and claimed the auction had been a "mistake."Dynadot not only stole Paymation.com from my account, they have refused to communicate with me and give me access to relevant details about this matter.

      Hello,

As we have discussed on numerous previous communications and you mentioned, an error occurred on our end and unfortunately the sale was an error. We have added additional safeguards to prevent this in the future and did provide a full refund plus an account credit for the inconvenience. The domain was not stole, is was an unfortunate error. Please feel free to visit our service agreement 3.4.

We do understand the frustration however as stated on multiple occasions, we are unable to provide account specific details about the current registrant.

      Regards,

      Dynadot

Dynadot claims: "As we have discussed on numerous previous communications and you mentioned, an error occurred on our end and unfortunately the sale was an error. I am rejecting this response because:

I was the legal owner of this domain for several weeks and you took it from my account without my permission. That is theft.

While I have never asked for details about the former owner of the domain, I have asked for an explanation:

      >>You claim this was an "error" but have shown me no evidence to support this claim.

      >>You have given me no insight into how this error occurred one time out of millions of Dynadot auctions.

Further, Dynadot has continually ignored my requests for these answers and refused to communicate with me by phone, email, or any other means, which is terrible customer service.

Stealing property from someone's account is bad enough but Dynadot has made the situation 10x worse by refusing to communicate with me.

Paymation .com is my domain. I confirmed with support that I became the legal owner of the domain after the sale closed and the domain was added to my account. I valued this domain at $48,999 and invested a great deal of time in managing and marketing the domain after I became the legal owner.

Your token gift of $100 does not begin to compensate me for the property theft.

      Please do the following:

      1) explain how this error happened one time out of millions of Dynadot auctions

      2) explain when and how the former owner renewed the domain

      3) explain how the renewal failed to process

      3) return paymation.com to my account -- it is my domain

      Sincerely,

      **** August

Im receiving daily text messages from one of many of the domains they host. They have not responded to my requests to stop these. I purchased from blinkcamera-USA.com, a package for $89.99 which I never received. The website has since been taken down, and the owner of the company (dynadot.com) wont respond to my email requesting a refund. I would like to file this complaint to get a full refund for a product I never received, as well to alert you to their business practices. Below is a copy of a website I discovered, that shows Blinkcamera-USAs ownership and information. Additionally, Im providing you with screenshots of my order confirmation and email I sent them. Thanks,******************* https://www.google.com/amp/s/ad-scams.com/amp/blinkcamera-usa-store

      Business response

Response: Based on our records, the domain name blinkcamera-***.com was registered at Dynadot last year but it did not belong to us. A customer purchased blinkcamera-***.com through our domain registration services. It sounds like you might have placed an order with them, but for some reason, the item was not successfully delivered. Dynadot could not help refund in this case as the matter would need to be resolved with blinkcamera-USA.com, the company in which you made the purchase. Dynadot was only the domain name registrar.

      - I purchased a premium domain from Dynadot on February 6th 2021 for $299 and received a confirmation that my purchase was being processed. Money was taken from my account.- The ***** search results show the registrar for the *** I purchased is Dynadot. Creation date 7/13/2021. - In early September, I saw that my purchase was still in "pending" status, despite having paid them SEVEN months prior. - I opened a ticket on Sept 14th which they closed 6 days later without resolution due to "inactivity"- I did NOT request my order canceled, as I need the *** I purchased in February. - I re-opened a ticket 7/21/2021 and emailed them, shortly after I received a notice of cancelation of my order, stating they would refund my money. They're asking for paypal even though I paid with a credit card.- They have told me that the domain is no longer available.- Given that I bought it in February and they registered it in July, it appears they stole my ***.
