    Was in the "waiting" game for over a month to be declined due to my property being in a trust. Come on Upstart! I wrote to them 5 different occasions to check with no response or the general "due to increased volume" excuse. A yes or no after a week should have sufficed.

    Company recently charged me more than the agreed interest rate on my loan. I will not use this company again and recommend everyone avoid them.

    Borrowed $2000 from this lender twice and paid both loans back well ahead of schedule, however now they refuse to lend me anymore money or refinance my car due to a recent bankruptcy I had last year which was related to being let go for several months but I still managed to make car payments and continue to do so now that I am working again, this lender is not as dependable as they say they are and would not recommend for the future.

    Recently applied for a loan for $33.6k from Upstart. I was approved in minutes and my funds were available the next day! Extremely simple & smooth process. All the bad reviews on here made me hesitant but Im glad I didnt let it stop me. Ive recommended them to close friends and family, & I will use them again if need be!

    They sold my contract to a third party even though I paid on time for 3 years and I contacted them and they don't know why it was done they didn't even tell me it was done I had to find out by the third party wanting 9500 dollars by the next day don't use these guys because they will use u back in a way u never intended

    if i could give them zero stars iwould they wont give me a repossession letter to ***d to the dmv so i can get the civil penalty canceled they told ne they *** all the info they could bu they wont ***d that but the car was sols out of state so they had to ***d it to the new owner for them to register the car so y r they blocking me from getting it they **** never again will i get anything from this company!!!!!!!((

    One of the WORST COMPANIES YOU CAN EVER DO BUSINESS WITH. Paid off my loan and they still say I owe them money. Had to take them to court. I dont care how BAD YOU NEED A LOAN, FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY. I will NEVER DEAL WITH UPSTART AGAIN

    Upstart claims users can delete their accounts by emailing. Yet it won't, despite me asking five times. (The company just keeps sending me info about data deletion, which I've completed. Then it asks me to call, which goes against its own documentation and possibly also the FTC's Click to Cancel rule.)Also, it's rates were 2.5x higher than other lenders. Run away, run away!

    They don't just mistreat their customers, they have a side hustle where they straw-purchase transunion credit reports for scam artists trying to get consumers into debt-relief programs. They pulled sixteen copies of my report and never actually considered me for a loan
