      July 30 2024 Just spoke to *** who refused to give a refund after my son sprained his ankle within the first hour of camp. I paid $355 for 3 days of basketball camp, and he said he would only give a voucher which I would have to use next summer for camp. I told him we would not be able to use the voucher for next summer, and he basically said too bad and was very rude. The camp also stated there would be lunch available for purchase on the information email, but when I dropped my son off, they said no lunch was available. After my son was injured, he said that the coach told him to continue to play which injured his ankle more. My son then called me from his cell to pick him up. I tried to call the center and the coach and went straight to voicemail. The 1800 number they give is useless as well. When a child is injured you would think someone would call me and let me know about this. Also, they don't even have the shooting machines or athletic trainer for injuries and the other equipment that they advertise. Just want to warn others of this company.

      I heard from 2 of my sons teammates parents that this camp leaves the children unattended and allows them to walk themselves to the bathrooms unattended. The bathrooms are near the parking lot and far from the training grounds. I unregistered my child ********************************************************** a refund. They only offer a voucher that would expire in ****. I only want my money back, I should not be forced to send my child to a camp that does not place emphasis on the safety and well being of a 7 year old boy.

      I am sorry for the confusion around this camp's bathroom supervision policy. We did confirm with the Camp Director that campers always go in pairs to the bathroom, accompanied by a staff member. However, I understand that you spoke with a team member today and still prefer a refund, which we have issued for you. The receipt attached shows the transaction which is in process. Please allow about a week for the funds to hit your credit card statement. Please let me know if there is anything else you would like to discuss.

      My child was signed up to attend the US Baseball Academy's winter baseball camp in January of 2022 at **************** in ********, ** for a cost of $290. This camp ended up being canceled and I was offered a credit. I reached out to the organization asking if I still have a credit and if I could use it for a 2023 summer camp. They said yes. However, I did not respond to that communication because after looking at the camp options I realized all the 2023 camps said the dates are all TBD. I can't sign up for a camp without knowing when they will occur. A friend of mine whose child also was attending the camp emailed the organization with me on it, in addition to a handful of other parents whose children were initially attending too, requesting a refund for all of us. They agreed. Everyone has received their refund except me and the reasoning is because *** had emailed us wanting to apply the amount paid to the summer camp. We replied to her email asking if she wanted to go ahead and set that up and we did not hear back. The refund has not been issued for her for that reason. I responded and said I cant sign up for a summer camp without knowing the dates and would also just like a refund at this point. This was one month ago and I have still not received it. I want my money back now and Im sick of dealing with these morons who know nothing about running a business, customer service or customer experience. I have receipts from the camp and all email communications that took place between me and them. My confirmation number for this purchase is *******.

      There was a check refund issued on 3-10-2023. The check is likely in the mail being delivered to Mrs. ****** 

       

      Orignially, she paid $290. However, the refund is for $278 because there is a registration fee that is non refundable.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was told the check was issued on 3/6 (when I spoke to *********************), 3/10 (when I spoke to ******) and also sometime in February. The money is not in my hand. The issue will be resolved when I have the refund.  If the check was issued and mailed on 3/10, we are working on almost an entire month for it to arrive. Where is it being mailed from?  What happens if the check does not arrive?

      I registered my son for ****************** (US Sports Camps) the week of June 13th 2022. I paid $840 (a down payment on 3/8/22 and the remainder on 5/3/22) for the week of camp. My son broke his arm on May 11, 2022. Today (5/16/2022) I called to cancel and was told that I would not be refunded the money paid and that my only option was a voucher. My confirmation number is *******.

      Good Morning -

      I filed a complaint because the sports camp that my son was set to attend the week of June 13th would not refund me the $840 that I paid even though he broke his arm and is unable to attend the camp.  I haven't officially cancelled because they are only offering a voucher.  However if I don't cancel by June 10th (and if this matter isn't resolved by then), I will loose the ability to request a voucher. If you have any suggestions re: how to proceed, please let me know.

      I registered my daughter to the **************** on March 18 for Basketball Camp at Orangewood AcademyJun 20 - Jun 23, 2022 I have not been able to accommodate my younger daughter to a summer camp for those dates and I am not able to drive around town to take my daughters to different summer camps since I work full time. I called today 04/20/2022 at 8:15 and Spoke to the manager ***** Donoon requesting the cancelation of my daughter's camp Issue; the manager of the camp ( *****) said there is no refund because I did not pay a $100 cancelation insurance. I can barely afford to pay $260 for 4 days of camp. I was not able to add to the burden. The camp will not refund me for the summer camp even though I cannot attend and will only issue a voucher for another time. I currently need this money so I can book another camp for my two daughters and I am canceling ahead of time. This camp is not family-friendly and would like to know if you can help clarify if this is even legal to ask for 100 cancelation insurance and to have no cancellation grace *******

      I purchased a week of **** Basketball Camp through ** Sports camp in ***** for the summer of 2020. The cost was $350.00. The camp was canceled due to the pandemic but they said the camp would run in 2021 so they would not refund my money. I waited for them to contact me this summer and they did not and so I emailed them but never heard back from them. It says clearly in their correspondence with me when I registered that if they cancel the camp they will refund your money but they have not. Please help.Sincerely,*****************************
