      Shady! Shady! Shady! I would not recommend OR to warranty a bird house. These guys are absolute clowns. I thought a warranty was supposed to actually cover what you purchased it for? I had them out to fix my fridge. They diagnosed the problem with the water system then said they could not find the parts. They called me and said since we can't find the parts we are replacing the fridge. Then they called me a few days later and said well....actually we are only paying you for the cost of the water system, not the fridge. So now I have a fridge they can't fix that they are not replacing, but they are giving me money to cover the cost of the water system which I can't get. Makes sense.

      Scammy service that hires crooks as providers and values profit over service, even when they're in the wrong.I had a summer "tune up" done for my ** unit through Old Republic Home Protection, which required a trade call fee that I paid. The provider, one of Old Republic's vendors, informed me that my ** unit had a broken controller that needed replacement. This wasn't part of the tune-up, so I had to pay another trade call fee for the repair.After the supposed repair, the ** unit malfunctioned. It wouldn't turn off, so I had to recall the provider. They got it to turn off, but then it wouldn't turn on again. Frustrated, I called Old Republic. At this point, I didn't trust their provider and wanted to use a provider I had used before getting the home warranty.I encountered significant difficulties getting approval from Old Republic for my preferred provider to examine the unit. After much effort, I finally received approval. My trusted ** technician discovered that while the unit had been tampered with, the controller hadn't actually been replaced. In fact, it showed burn marks from where it had burnt out. He couldn't determine exactly what the previous technician had done, but it clearly wasn't replacing the controller as claimed.I complained to Old Republic about this situation. Fortunately, my trusted provider was able to fix the system and get it working properly. I informed Old Republic that I would not pay the trade call fee for the new vendor, as they were fixing an issue created by Old Republic's original provider.Throughout this process, I found Old Republic's service to be extremely poor. Their policies were insulting and confusing, and their systems seemed designed to be so complicated that customers would give up rather than pursue resolution.Now, they insist, despite all I've been through, I still pay the trade call fee for the 3rd party contractor I brought out, even though it was only to fix the issues their original provider created.

      Our air conditioning went out a week ago last Monday. We were told someone could come out over a week later to check it out. We live in ******* and are enduring the summer heat. We called back and someone else was sent out the same day. We were told we were a priority but over a week later are still waiting for the repair. Come to find out the invoices were sent to the wrong company. We will be getting this repaired Friday, which means almost 2 full weeks of no air conditioning in ******* in the dead of summer. They will not reimburse for hotel stays or temporary portable air conditioning. Our food has melted and rotted, our house plants have died, and this shouldve been handled much quicker as it has become a health hazard for not only us, but our dog as well. Shame on this company for not responding and handling this quicker. Must be nice to go home to your air conditioned houses as for two weeks we have been suffering in our home. We will not be renewing with you when our contract expires.

      The worst customer service, they charge you but never fulfill their job of repairing. The wait time to speak to a customer representative is over an hour. They give you the run around everytime and offer zero help!!

      Not as good as used to be. ORHP it seems lately use unprofessional contractors or none experience. They sent three contractors to fix my pool and the third one did it but in his second visit, it took 6 weeks to fix it with consequence algae issues. In addition I used other contractor on my own.

      I have been a consistent contract holder since the purchase of my home. I had a a/c malfunction and for me, Old Republic tarnished any semblance of respect or integrity that I held. I was out of service for more than a month dealing with Old Republic. I was given inconsistent and misinformation. I was lied to and my questions were ignored and never answered. I received nothing but excuses. I was so disappointed, I cancelled my contract. **************** rated at an all time low. The providers sent to my home said one thing to me and wrote something totally different on their report. Horrible experience for me. Totally devastating and Resultingly, I have lost confidence in them. Costly repairs are now necessary, worsened by Old Republic failure to deliver. Telephone operators contradicted each other. I emailed a detailed account of my experience and I have yet to receive a response. In canceling my contact, I requested reimbursement for unused portion. I received a check which represented 1/4 of what I thought that I was going to receive. No breakdown or explanation was provided for amount received. I called requesting a copy of the breakdown and I have yet to receive any response. I would never recommend Old Republic for anything. When I do the math and review the dollar amount that I have invested through the years, the ultimate conclusion is a great rip off with much misrepresentation in every form of advertisement. Words cannot express or describe the depth of my disappointment, letdown and dismay with Old Republic.

      Horrible renewal process. Made a payment which should have gone prior to 10 day without coverage lapse and they issued new plan account # on the last day to receive no lapse coverage. Raised service call from $85.00 to OVER $100 plus $110! Limited customer service and outdated resources altogether.
