I have been contacted by a realestate agent who claims American Title sold my information without my permission to include and not limited personal contact information, financial data, personal data, and property data. I have givne no permission to this person at all and never advertised my property for sale or had initial contact until yesterday. Where are the laws in the ******************* invading and selling my personal information. This broker is:*******************************, *********** Broker ******************* ****************

This company sent my financial information in the form of a completed loan application, which included my social security number, in a plain text un-encrypted email. My information was made publicly available over the Internet in this manner. This incident occurred on April 11, 2023 at 10:11am. The email was sent by ********************* and supervised by her manager, *******************, both employees of First American Title.**************** continues to insist "subject email was sent encrypted and in compliance with applicable laws". However, this is nonsense and I retain the problematic email as evidence. It is a plain text email. The loan application was sent un-encrypted. There was absolutely no security employed. If they claim otherwise, then they should state the details backing their statement.Additionally, the bank involved warned them prior to sending the email that it should Not be transmitted in that manner.

After filling out the form that was sent to me by *****************************. She created a label for another individual other than myself. Is business normally conducted in this manner whereas peoples earnings are handled immaturely, or is this an individual character flaw? Help me to understand how an adult who was communicating with me the entire time on the phone still did this? Does anyone have a superior point of contact for ******************** that I can speak with so they can know the employee that is working for them is unprofessional and unethical?

Per ************************** instructions, the return of her ******* money deposit was to be sent to one of our offices located in ************. Since the check was being sent via fed-ex to our office, the package needed to be addressed to one of our employees which is what was done. If, as ********************** is complaining about, the fed-ex package were addressed to her, there likely would be issues in handling the delivery and receipt of the fed-ex package since ********************** is not an employee. Alternatively, if ********************** wanted the fed-ex package to be addressed to her, it should have been sent to her address and not to one of our offices. Since ********************** directed First American to deliver the check to our office located in ************, the package needed to be addressed to one of our employees.

It is my understanding that ********************** has now received her ******* money back and there is no further action to take.  Additionally, since there was no transaction, there were no charges so there is nothing to refund to ***********************

On 12/17 we closed on our new home. The title company received a check at closing and were responsible to submit payment to our home warranty and insurance company. On 12/19, I had to contact the home warranty company, the hot water tank (which is a covered item) went out. I was told that payment had not been received, therefore, I could not file a claim because I technically didn't have a warranty yet. I called First American that same day and was told that a check was sent via snail mail. On 12/23, I started getting notices from our flood insurance company that our policy was at-risk due to nonpayment. I contacted ***************************** and she stated that a check was sent to the flood insurance and should have not been cancelled. I called the home warranty company back on 12/27, they still had not received payment. She said that she would call the insurance so they won't cancel the policy. On 12/29 I received a notice that my policy was cancelled due to nonpayment. The lack of urgency in getting this matter resolved is upsetting. They have not be proactive in resolving this matter. As of today, nothing has been resolved.

I closed on my new townhome at ************************************************************* on Thursday, October 28, 2021. I purchased Title Insurance from First American Title Insurance Company. On April 23, 2022, I notified ********************* of First American Title Insurance Company, ***********, ** ************* that I received a letter from the Jefferson County, ** ****** of ************************ stating that in order to properly record the deed to my ownership, they needed to correct the Grantor Name on a new deed and formally file it. I have had no correspondence from ************ or her company. Today, I received another letter stating that this issue remains unresolved. I have called, emailed and voicemailed ************ for prompt resolution and requested to file a claim on my title insurance policy asap. Considering their silence and non-response, I feel I need your assistance. I see they have an F BBB rating. Thank you!

I placed a claim to have leak looked at, I received an email work has been authorized. I called to clarify this claim would not only need to cover the cracked tub but other surface areas which are attached was then told my work order request was authorized by mistake and will no longer be covering cracked tub which is causing water damage in the bathroom. I feel the claim was denied due to needing more work to be done. Would like to have the damage repaired and job completed as stated in the email from American Title.

We had an expected close date of May 3, 2021 with his company and have had nothing but terrible treatment, complete incompetence and hardly any response from them with corrected paperwork.
