      On Sunday, February 2nd, To & Mo Towing Company (************ location) towed my vehicle, a 2016 ***** Civic, from ************. When they returned my car after I paid $550, my sister and brother-in-law witnessed their driver back it into another vehicle. Despite this, the employee initially told me my vehicle was good to go, unaware that we had seen the accident occur. We confronted the driver, who then admitted to the accident. This raises serious concerns about both negligence and dishonesty in their business practices. The owner of the other vehicle involved will more than likely not be disclosed that their car was hit. Businesss ************************* towing company was responsible for safely transporting and returning my vehicle in its original condition.Instead, they damaged my car and attempted to hide the incident.I requested a written incident report, their insurance information, and confirmation of their responsibility, but they have not responded yet.I am submitting this complaint to document their negligence and deceptive behavior, and to warn others about their business practices. I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

      On 12/05/2024 I picked up my vehicle from To And Mo Towing around 10:00 am. and noticed the my vehicle was damaged on the right passenger doors. I have called and sent an email and I have not yet received a response. Two other vehicles were damaged as well.

      My car was towed on 10/5/24. When i picked up my car the next morning on 10/6/24 I noticed damage on the rear passenger side. I immediately told the guy that brought my car out and he said to take pictures and call the next morning because it was the weekend. So on Monday 10/7/24 I call To and Mo and the person told me I need to email them a picture of the damage. I emailed him explaining what happened along with a picture of the damage. I dont get a response so I email again on 10/9/24 asking them to give me a call so I can get this figured out. I waited it a few days before calling again. I left multiple messages for the manager and every time they say the manager will call me for sure. On 10/18/24 I gave them one last chance to contact me, but Im ignored again. After checking their reviews it seems like this is a common problem. They think its funny and ignore everyones complaints hoping the customers will give up. They need to be shut down. Please contact them and let them know I want my car repaired at a ************* Dealership not a small time body shop that works the way they do Mickey ***** style.

      Complaint Details:Incident Date: August 13th, 2023 Location: ********** Apartment Homes, ***************************************** Description of the Incident:On August 13th, 2023, a vehicle I drive, which belongs to my ex-husband, was illegally towed from ********** Apartment Homes. The truck was on the apartments safe car list at some point, and I am unsure why it was taken off and towed. When I attempted to retrieve the truck, the towing company refused to provide me with an invoice that included the property managers signature or information. The reason they provided for the tow was incorrect.Additionally, the person behind the counter refused to give me the managers information and signature, claiming it was illegal to do so. They provided me with a fake towing company code number that supposedly supported their claim, but upon looking it up, I found it to be a fake number. When I approached them about this they asked me to leave the property and wouldnt allow me to leave with an invoice or any ************ ex-husband did not want to seek legal action, but this towing company has done this before. They tow vehicles without having a property manager on-site to approve it, most likely because they think people dont know their rights and it goes unnoticed, allowing them to make a lot of money.I have not paid any fees to the towing company, and it has been beyond the 30-day period. I was waiting for assistance from a non-profit organization that initially said they would help me retrieve the truck, but they ultimately could not assist.Desired Resolution:I am seeking the immediate release of my brothers truck without any fees or charges, as the tow was illegal and unjustified. I also request an investigation into the towing companys practices and the actions of the individual who provided false information.

      I would like to start by saying, WE DO NOT COME ONTO FIVE COVES APARTMENTS UNLESS CALLED!  We have an authorized signature for each tow done.  It is AGAINST THE *** for a towing company to release that name to ANYONE.  There is nothing about any code we would provide to a person picking up their vehicle.
      Not having any information on the actual vehicle (License Plate Vin number) being towed it is hard to give any response to WHY IT WAS TOWED. It sounds like the truck was in her EX-husband's name so she could not pick-up the truck without her ex-husband helping. We are not allowed (AGAINST THE ***) TO RELEASE ANY VEHICLE THAT WAS A PRIVATE PARTY IMPOUND TOW TO ANYONE  OTHER THAN, THE REGISTERED OWNER, OR LEGAL OWNER OF THE VEHICLE. SOUNDS LIKE SHE WAS NEITHER.!    QUESTION? IS IT HER EX-HUSBANDS VEHICLE OR IS IT HER BROTHERS AS SHE WRITES IN HER COMPLAINT IT" BELONGS TO HER EX-HUSBAND THEN AT THE BOTTOM SHE WRITES UNDER DESIRED RESOLUTION:"IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF HER BROTHERS VEHICLE".  THEY MUST BOTH OWN THE VEHICLE.  So, either one the ex-husband or her brother, could pick the vehicle--up!   If THE REGISTRATION to the vehicle shows both names on the  vehicle registration.
      Additionally, this complainant, makes up things claiming we are doing something illegal PLEASE PROVE THAT.  Unfortunately, she doesn't know the laws on PRIVATE PARTY IMPOUND TOWS so she makes up things to complain about and calls them illegal.

      To Whom It May Concern,
      I am now speaking as the registered owner of the vehicle. The day after my truck was towed, I went down to the tow yard and requested an itemized receipt, including the name and description of the manager who called for and signed off on the tow. By law, you are required to disclose this information. However, the window attendant at the tow yard refused to provide that information, citing a bogus California legal code that they claimed gave them the authority to remove the name and contact information of the person on-site who called in and signed off on the tow. Now, who is making stuff up and calling it illegal? If you will not provide such information which you are required by law to disclose I will have no other option to pursue legal action.

      I had my car towed by this company they took my truck and when I went to pick up my truck they asked me for the key to take it out and they stoked expensive Goods like an Apple Watch I had and a battery packed used to jump start my truck I called and they keep denying but they was the only ones that when on my truck and its all missing they also have many more complains in yelp about them stealing they should get penalized for theft and scamming people

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident involving my vehicle being towed and the subsequent charges. I am a physical therapist, and on the day in question, I was evaluating a new patient at their home. Typically, my patients inform me where it is acceptable to park, and I follow those instructions carefully. On this occasion, I parked in front of my patients home.After completing my evaluation, I returned to find that my car had been towed. This occurred within approximately one hour. I immediately went to the towing companys office and picked up my car within less than two hours of it being towed. To my shock, I was charged $525 for the towing and retrieval of my vehicle.As a healthcare worker who travels to patients homes daily, I am diligent about following all parking regulations. I was not aware of any restriction that would result in my car being towed in such a short time frame. Even if there was a misunderstanding about where I parked, the charge of $525 for picking up my car promptly seems exorbitant and unreasonable.I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue and addressing the excessive fee I was charged. I believe that this amount constitutes an unfair business practice, especially given the promptness with which I retrieved my vehicle.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,*****************************

      My car was wrongfully towed. After getting release from the PD this tow yard would refuse to take my debit card after it was declined because of suspected fraud. I called my bank cleared the issue. Front lady ***** refused to take a card wanting cash. She was so rude throwing papers closing the window on me and refusing to relesse my car. After going to the bank she increased my fee $820 - 865

      This is based off the unprofessional conduct of this sorry tow company, **** who runs this place is a phone soldier who assures every tow thats concluded is flawless, my vehicle was damaged upon transport, called to confront the situation and he hung up multiple times stating Im not a customer I have a receipt and a charge stating I paid them so that makes me a what? Correct you guessed it a customer. See u in small claims *****

      Mystery ****? Hes the person whom represented your ******** yard in *******, but seems you do know what Im talking about in regards of my vehicle damage, I even confirmed that ************* his show in *******, so lets not be in denial with this BBB complaint. Refund or repair is where Im at. Your entire operation has been unprofessional and no response and hanging up on customers to me is a response, your yelps and the complaints stated here on BBB is speaking for itself

      Due to either intentionally or negligence, during the towing process, To and Mo Towing company damaged my car. On April 4, 2024, I pick up my car from To and Mo towing company in *******, **. ******, one of the company's employees, drove the car from the back of the building. One of my friends, ********************, me and ******, noticed damage to the back of the car/below the license plate (bumper area). ****** and I took pictures of the damage and he stated that he would report it to management and that I should hear back by the following day. However, as of Sunday, April 14, 2024, which is over ********************************************** management staff. I have sent several emails as well as called the company numerous times, but they have not contacted me and is trying to avoid their legal requirement and responsibility to resolve this serious issue. In addition, on April 10, 2024, I contacted the company again and spoke with **** and he stated that he would deliver the message about my vehicle damages to management and he also confirmed that the company received all of my emails. **** also confirmed my car's license plate number as well as the SO#******. Please see the attachment for detailed information regarding the cost to repair the damages caused by To and Mo Towing Company. The apartment complex (the manager) that requested the tow also call and sent emails to To and Mo to request information about this serious matter but To and ************* team continues to avoid speaking with the apartment complex. I am seeking to be paid the amount in the attached estimate so that I can repair my car.
