I paid the amount due the trash company on June 26th, 2023 in the amount of ***** for the period July 1:00 through September 30, 2023. When the trash company sent me a bill for the period October 1 through December 31, 2023, they included an amount of $4.05 retro billing for the period July through September 2023. 2023. Since I already paid for the July through September bill in full, they are retroactively trying to bill me an amount which is not due for July through september 2023. Their letter to me ***** July 1, 2023 says" customers will be charged the rates shown below on a quarterly basis, build at the beginning of the. So for them to retroactively. ****, me $4 and $0.05 is improper since I paid the bill in full.Initial Complaint

Our recycling bins arent collected on a weekly basis, and the only method for them to be collected is if I report it and send an email to the company each week, along with attaching photos of the uncollected trash cans. This situation is both hazardous and exasperating. Its frustrating to have to report this issue every week and continue paying for services that are consistently incomplete. Additionally, despite being assured that I would be contacted by managers or supervisors, I havent received any communication from them. This is an ongoing problem that keeps happening without any changes or accountability on their part.Initial Complaint

I have had issues with trash pick up specifically for my yard waste and composting. I have called at least 6 times in the past 6 months for a missed pickup. Despite that, my trash still sits outside, not picked up. This is really a health hazard with flies and maggots on the food. It is disgusting having this bin sit in the sun days on end. Services provided include trash sanitation. Business removed my means of trash sanitation due to communication error between operations and their field workers. 2 months of lack of service with multiple phone calls. On June 15, 2023 we were informed that UWS is going to charge a monthly fee of $59.06 to enter our facility because they have to be let in through a gate. This process adds all of about 7 seconds to their total time on our property. No other vendor charges us a fee to enter our facility, and this seems like a total scam.Initial Complaint

In February I contacted UWS for the second time regarding the same issue. Last year my bin was destroyed. The lid was ripped off and the side was bashed in. It took months to replace and I was told to double up and use my trash or grass bin for recycling. This time my black bin has been destroyed and I was told again to use my blue bin for trash. I am not sure how putting trash in the recycle bin helps when it is sorted. Now I am being told that every week I am scheduled for a new bin but they can afford to replace my bin and it could be weeks. That was months ago. The bin is almost unusable at this point as each week the damage gets worse. All I want is a working trash bin. My neighbor has the same issue.Initial Complaint

I had a problem registering a new account ever since they took over Calmets business for the property in *******************************************************************. So I tried to call them and found out that it is just about impossible to do so. I have been on the phone for over an hour despite their repeated announcement Someone Will Be With You Shortly. So in essence I am left hanging dry without resolving my registering my account and unable to pay on line.I wish their management can see this post so they can fire those idiots who designed thr web for registering new accounts and those responsible for answering their phones.Initial Complaint

Attn: ************** (P) ********* Mon, 3/27 Universal Waste Systems, *** trash collection employee ran over my 50gal container and broke it in half around 7am. I called *************** Wind onsite manager @8am he gave me Universal Waste Systems, *** phone number and asked me to call them directly. I spoke with Joi *** customer service. *** sent me email 9:18 AM. I replied with photos and my service address at 9:50 AM. *** said he would have ****** supervisor call. I did receive many calls only problem is no answer every time I answered phone. Tues 3/28 I called *** Joi the next day complaining & she hung up on me. I called back & received a girl named *** ******, she told me UWS policy requires my claim to have video. ****** says no video, *** cannot reimburse. ****** says this is UWS policy. I asked ****** to email me this policy. She says, she will not. After inquiry I learn *** does not have this policy. The *** CS rep named ****** lied. I called back asked for manager, received call back from ******, he left message. I called him back now 4 times, left message each time. Still waiting for return call. Thurs 3/2 Emailed all available damaged personal property information to ******* @ www.horizonmgmt.com Fri 3/3 My damaged personal property compliant was escalated ***** @ www.horizonmgmt.com. My compliant is now scheduled to review with our board of directors on March 23rd. I am also informed that these are other UWS customer service complaints. Tues 3/7 ******* from *** called @ ****pm he refused to pay for my damage property. He asked for license number, truck number etc.. Essentially, he wanted a video too. Im having an occurring issue that now turned weekly with my trash pick **** I do pay an additional fee to have an additional bin. However my trash are not being picked up and the companies driver refuses to pick up our trash bins and reports false claims to UWS stating our bins are not outside when in fact they are and a day early to avoid missed pick**** I requested a billing adjustment for the missed pick *** and requested to speak with a supervisor on many occasions and yet no one calls me back. I only ever got a call back years ago when I made complaint through here. Now I am pursing billing adjustments and a resolution to this problem. I provided a email train showing this occurring issues.
