Updated: The owner of this shop is a complete psycho!!!! He called me with an unknown number and cursed and verbally abused me after he saw me leaving a bad review lol (funny that I typed out what he threw at me and ****** removed my review because of profanity then you know how mean he said) Be aware, if you hire them and things dont turn well you might get something like this!!!!Had an accidental lockout from my rental car. It took over an hour for the guy to come to the spot to unlock. (initially they said only 40 mins but turned out to be more than an hour and they didn't notify us they would be late and didn't provide any reasons) Asked beforehand for a quote by letting them know what year and what make and model is, but didn't get any response from that. And eventually got charged for $200 bucks for 1 front door after bargaining for a self-claimed "$395" value service... RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I should have just gone with my **** infinity insurance (didn't go with that because the wait time was 50 mins) and **** only charges $80 for the whole thing. GOT totally screwed and cheated by this VERY DISHONEST company. STAY AWAY FROM IT! Even a lockout service from Hertz is only around a hundred.

On 2/5/23, we were locked out of our apartment. I called Ocean Park Lock & Key for assistance; and was told that a technician would call me to schedule an appointment. Over the next 1.5 hours, I received calls from roughly 5 different technicians, some of which told me they would not come out to help if we were talking to other technicians. All technicians said they were "thirty minutes away", though the business is about .25 miles from my apartment. I finally reached a technician, who arrived in an unmarked car, no uniform, and asked to see the door we needed to open. When he saw the door, he said "this can get up to $250 if we need to drill into the lock to open it". He then came back with a balloon, which he wedged into the door and inflated. The door immediately opened - a total work time of about 45 seconds. He then came inside my apartment, placed his foot in front of the door, and asked that I pay him in Zelle only. He demanded $255 for the job, plus a $60 "office charge". I payed him. No invoice was given to me, and no receipt was sent by the company.Later, I called the company to ask for a quote for the job the technician had just performed. The company told me $70, plus a $20 office charge. When I revealed that their technician had just charged me $315 for the same job, the owner started to yell at me, saying "why are you accusing me, you live in a nice building you can afford to pay for this work". He also confirmed that the technician had, indeed, lied about the $60 office charge and offered to give me $40; but demanded that I "sign a paper saying you will never speak bad about our business."When I refused his offer, the owner offered $75; but again demanded that I not report him. Even acknowledging that his technician had scammed me out of AT LEAST the $60 "office charge", he told me, "I don't trust you. You need to send me your personal information. I am not going to send you money because I don't trust you."
