    I purchased clothing from hardtailforever.com - delivered October 17th, 2022. The business advertises the items I received to be "preshrunk" and the care instructions are as follows "machine wash in cold water, use mild detergent, no bleach, tumble dry low". Great care was placed into following these directions, yet the items shrunk significantly, rendering them unwearable. In contacting customer service today (October 24th, 2022), I was told that because the items were washed, they were not eligible for return. Additionally, photos were requested. I explained to both customer service agents I spoke to (***** being the first, who disconnected my call instead of forwarding me to a supervisor) and supervisor (*******) that the items are not as described (for reasons outlined above), and there should be no question of return eligibility. This is false advertising at worst, and very poor customer service at best. Lastly, I am unable to provide pictures at this time (not everyone has access to this technology, for varying reasons), but offered to have the items sent back for physical inspection. It is unlikely that pictures could accurately display how much an item has shrunk anyhow. I was told that I would be contacted if an exception could be made for this return, but am not confident this will occur, and again, believe this should not be considered an "exception". Once again, I'm asking for a return label so that these items may be sent back for a refund. If this is unacceptable to HardTailForever, I suggest altering your item descriptions rather than placing additional burden on your customer. These items are not pre-shrunk, and the care instructions are not appropriate for the material.
