I had a cheap USED lift for 3 years and finally I bought 3 BENDPAK lifts and paying $9500! Lift install guy said "It looks like stayed for a long time outside." But I believed in "BENDPAK" so it didn't really bother me. But recently. 2 out of 3 lifts start to make noise and make problems with the rubber pad. It's been less than 1 yr to using it. I asked bendpak to check it, and got a $250 bill. Also he said "If you didn't inspect every single day, we can't fix with warranty." Customer service center doesn't care about this. No inspection everyday? No warranty. That's all they said. Who inspect lifts every single day with over 20 checklists? And it's 2 out of 3 BENDPAK lifts. less than 1 yr installed. My cheap used lift had no sound for 3 yrs. Also there was another complaint here on 05/05/2022 about a rubber block (pad). I have the same problem with the pad, so I'm pretty sure there is a problem. Buy BENDPAK and they'll give NO WARRANTY AT ALL unless you inspect every single day with over 20 checklists.Business response

A year ago we sent replacement cylinders and hired service center under warranty to repair. Now another issue and upon review our team can determine the customer has not been following any of the routine maintenance required for this type product as outlined in the operators manual. We sell 100's of these a month and basic maintenance is certainly typical for such an important piece of shop equipment. I am really not sure what he wishes us to do...

I am rejecting this response because:We use lifts everyday, know what we need to do to operate lift SAFETY.We maintained lift because we don't want to get HURT.Of course that includes all the "Maintenance list" that you have.It was not operated by 7 years child, We have a BMW MINI technician.We just don't have a "every single day checklist".But it's not right to refuse warranty service because of a checklist.All oil levels are normal. Doesn't need to change anything yet.It does not make sense to me. 2 of 3 lift making noise and rubber blocks have problems less than 1 yr use.I don't understand why "America’s best lift" company makes to hard to get warranty service with "Maintain lift document sheet"even though expert operated lift and all oil levels are perfect.I want to get warranty service and fix the lift sound problem for our safety. Also change the rubber blocks.It seems to common issue of BENDPAK lift. (there was another complaint here on 05/05/2022 about a rubber block)

I was informed by our team that again in April we sent a service provider out to do basic maintenance bleeding procedure and such and shop owner refused to pay. I am not sure we will ever satisfy them if they will not comply to our requirements set forth in the manual. Without proper maintenance, lift parts will probably wear prematurely and become faulty. Customer will have to pay for service center and return visit if needed.Customer response

We can ABSOLUTELY tell you that we did "proper maintenance"
Because we don't want to have an accident.
We check oil level, make it clean, do visual inspection, everything.
That's BASIC for SAFETY to our well trained technician.
The problem is lift is making noise and we asked warranty repair, and rejected because doesn't have "MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST" even though lift was maintained well, oil level great and clean
That's not right.
Also they asked us for around $300 just for inspection.
We can't say that is "Warranty".
It's 2 out of 3 BENDPAK lifts have problems less than 1 yr.
We did "proper maintenance" here, no reason to refuse warranty.
We are asking to repair the sound of 2 out of 3 BENDPAK lifts and rubber blocks with warranty.Initial Complaint

The car lift jacks they sell come with rubber blocks to put between the jack and the car to be lifted. And the rubber block failed and the car fell off the rubber block and damaged my 2015 Porsche macan turbo 's RF rocker panel. I emailed support and they offered to goodwill me new rubber blocks. I purchased the jacks from Costco. There is a Porsche parts company Pelican Parts that sells these jacks and they recommend not using the rubber blocks and to use there other truck-suv blocks instead. I am a retired Rolls Royce Technician of 40 years so I know how to jack up a car. I asked them to goodwill me the truck-suv blocks and pay for the repairs to the damage to my car, and never herd back. I also recommended them to come pick up my rubber blocks so they cane see what went wrong with there product. This is dangers and someone could get killed. They should be recalled, now!Business response

Purchased (2) Bendpak Auto Lifts in Dec of 21. They were installed by vender supplied by Bendpak on January 27, 2021. They have nor worked since installed. Installer has made 6 visits and attempts to correct including replacing parts shipped by BendPak. As of this date, lifts are not fully operational and poise a safety threat as described by installer. Bendpak has not followed thru with contacting me about repairing or replacing. I have requested they credit me back the money and have lifts picked up. No response.Business response

On Nov 22nd 2021 I reached out to their technical support team to address an issue of our new lift lifting unevenly causing a major safety concern for the technicians working under the lift. I received an immediate email back informing me that someone would be on the case in 24-48 hours. On Dec 2nd they finally reached back out and said they were experiencing longer than normal wait times and to be be patient...On 12/6/21 I asked for an update. At which point I finally was able to get on the phone with a technician from Bendpak to try and troubleshoot the issue. The technician walked through various testing procedures and to no avail. The lift was functional if you were careful prior to testing, it just lifted uneven; post testing and troubleshooting w/ the technician it now no longer works at all. The last of the testing and troubleshooting occurred on/before 12/17/21 depending on ones perspective. Since then I have continually asked for updates and I have received only one meaningful update. On 1/21/21 the technician w/ Bendpak apparently reached out to upper management to discuss the possibility of replacing the power unit of the lift, but is apparently waiting on their supervisors to approve the replacement. It is now almost a month since that time. I have attached the email thread to this complaint so that my efforts to attempt contact can be noted and that their lack of response can be noted as well. In all my years of business I have never had to wait soooo long for responses.Business response
