    Transaction took place on 6/2/23. After submitting $700 to secure a 4-hour window for this moving company, they quoted us for the whole job at ~$850 following the completion of a virtual walk-through detailing exactly what needed moved & to where. The day of the move, they intentionally took much longer than the quoted estimate, & could not fit all our belongings in the truck for 1 trip resulting in a costly 2nd trip. After 14 hours to do what they estimated at less than 5 hours, they charged us $1320 more than originally quoted. Please read the attached statement included for further details. Not until months later upon closer inspection of the companys reviews on ******* the majority of their positive reviews are obviously fake & the reviews from real people recount strikingly similar experiences to what I experienced with them. Please be advised that the *************** number for this company is incorrect on the BBB profile; address per ****** is ************************************************************************ & the phone number is **********.

    we hired Nice Guys Movers ********** **. we meet with ********** ... he told us he would be the day before to pack us up then the next day they would move everything into a storage unit....the first day him & an another man came to pack us they were there less than 3 ********** said he would be back next day & finish the job of packing & moving us...I was surprised they left so early... the next day he did not show up instead the other man ********** told us was his room mate came with 2 other men who I never meet before... I could by the way they were packing they were not professional...but time is not on our side to stop & change the company... I called ******** came over to help for about 1 hour & left ... I told him I was not happy about the workers but it went on deaf ears... they are on the way with one truck & a personal pickup by one of the ************ got into an accident & our **** que was in the back of his truck... that was not damaged but there was other containers in truck... not sure what happened to all the the things we had missing but they are lost... the reason for this letter is this is a bad business that should not be in business... thank you of reading this ************************* s

    We booked labor help for a cross country move. Nice Guys Movers agreed to provide 2 guys for 2 hours to help us load our Uboxes on 2/11/2022 at 2:30pm. Nobody showed up at 2:30, so I called at 3:00 to find out what was going on. They then informed me that they had a lot of people out sick and would not show up at all. In the end, Nice Guys Movers sent only 1 guy, 3 hours late. They charged us $150 ($75/hour, 2 hour minimum) The confirmation email they sent when I booked them confirms in writing that they committed to two helpers for two hours at that price, and they committed to arrive at the designated time (2:30pm). We also tipped the one helper who showed up very generously.We had a hard deadline to finish before the Uboxes were picked up - so my husband and I ended up doing most of the loading ourselves and working late into the night in the dark to make sure the job was finished.Afterwards, I called 4 times, spoke with their representative and left voicemails trying to obtain a partial refund for services not rendered - I kept getting told that they needed to have a manager call me back (they never called back). The last time I called they literally hung up on me. I was always very polite but firm when I called - so there was no good reason for this treatment - except that they had zero intention of returning any money to me. I feel that a 50% refund is more than fair given that we received half the service promised 3 hours later than scheduled with no notice.
