            I boarded my dog at K9 Activity Club in May 2024. He was injured in their care. They didn't follow up with me. I had to call them to find out his status. When I picked him up he had been left for hours on concrete with no blanket, food, or water, and was still bleeding. They offered no solid explanation and no apology. They had not even cleaned his wound and blamed him (a 21 lb Boston Terrier) saying he snapped at them. A wounded dog is apt to be defensive. They declined to pay any portion of his $366 medical bill. Whether or not the injury was caused by accident or negligence, the poor way the staff handled subsequent events is terrible. Shame on you guys.

            Hi ***, We understand seeing your pup hurt is hard, and we are sorry ********************* his nail. I would like to clear up some inaccuracies in your review. We called you immediately when this happened, and left a voicemail with the manager's personal cellphone so you could call her back at any time as this was after office hours. We were glad to speak to you at 10 am the following morning, and continued to follow up with you throughout the day and after your vet visit. ****** was extremely reactive and aggressive trying to bite our team, so we were unable to help clean his injury. Your vet had to have him sedated to treat him. ****** was in our lodge, with food and water in his indoor/outdoor den. We explained that his nail was hurt during a potty break, and we offered many apologies and did our best to help make the situation better by refunding you for your stay and offering an additional credit on your account. Again, we are sorry that ****** was injured and we hope feels better soon!
