    On July 16th we had. the transmission and oil service done on our ****** Rav4 in preparation for our daughter to take the car for a roadtrip. We have had success in the past with them wanted to be proactive. 100 miles into her trip the plastic shield under the car came loose and fell into the wheel ripping off part of the plastic. She was able to stop at a gas station and the mechanic was able to help to secure the shield to continue her trip.We called SRT and they verbally accepted responsibility as it was clear the shield was not properly reattached after the service and asked we repair the car and bring a receipt on return for reimbursement. We repaired the car at our local dealership as soon as our daughter returned.When we presented the receipt they claimed they were not reimbursing since we didnt repair it in **. This is not what was agreed on. In addition the part required ordering and scheduling so if that was a requirement it would have not been possible.we have been offered a free oil change but thats not what was agreed. The service cost us ****** The replacement shield cost us $640.59
