On December 16, 2024 I placed an order with GovFilingsOnline to receive a copy of my Birth Certificate. I was told that I would receive a packet to provide certain documents to them. I never received the packet, and there's literally no way to contact them directly. I left messages through their website and I have yet to receive a response. I am a person protected under the protected class, due to my disability. I also am unable to read well enough to investigate this on my own, so I now have my case manager to help me to resolve this matter. I feel that it has been long enough and this company has done nothing to provide the services I paid for. I have no emails, or mail in reference to this company. I want a refund for the services I never received.Business Response

Simply click "Support" at the top right hand corner. Perhaps this person was on the wrong website or using the wrong email address to contact us. She can contact us anytime at ********************************** Please simply send us an email and verify a good address and we are happy to re-send the package.
In general, if someone did not receive the package it means the delivery address was incorrect. We will look forward to receiving an email with a good address and we will get another package out right away.

I am rejecting this response because: I did attempt to contact this business on more than one occasion, their website is very confusing and very limited as to the available options. There is no phone number and it only has two options if you are a customer or you are making an inquiry as a new customer. The one time it did say it would send out a new packet, which like the first one I never received. My address is correct. I then selected refund, to which then I was immediately sent to a page stating their refund policy or should I say NON-Refund Policy. I feel that I am entitled to a refund because I never received the services that I paid for, nor has this company made any attempt to follow-up in any way. They never reached out by phone or email, if they believed the address to be wrong. As I said I am from a protected class of individuals and I don't feel that it is fair for this company to take money promising to provide services that they never did. Could the company please provide proof of them having actually sent a packet out, or returned mail. This company is not being forthwith in any compacity.

Our website is quite straight forward. I also provided a direct email address in my last response and have yet to receive any emails from this individual. As stated, we are happy to send another package or even email the package. But we are not responsible for issues arising with **** mail delivery.

As per our phone conversation, I am sending this email to express my desire to reopen the complaint against GovFilingOnline, We reached what I thought was a resolution when the company agreed to send out another packet, to submit documents. However, just like the first time, I have not received the packet.

Hello1- The receipt you provided in your documents to BBB is not from us. So perhaps you did not even order through us in the first place.
2- In our original response, we specifically asked that you send us an email confirming a good address so we could mail another packet. We did not receive any email from you confirming a good address, so that's why another packet has not been mailed out. In fact, we've never received ANY communication from this individual at all.
It seems perhaps this individual did not order from us, because the receipt they provided is not from us. If this person DID order through us, then please send us an email with your order number and a good mailing address so we can send another package.

I was charged for a service to receive my daughters birth certificate. I never received one it has been 3 months. My daughter is about to be 4 months in a few days. I have tried to contact customer service and have received no repsponse.Business Response

Please be aware that we have not received even one single customer support inquiry from this customer. Not one. So, how can we help if the customer never even bothered to contact us?
Second, the order was mailed the same day she placed the order- October 25th.
If the customer simply contacted us, we would be happy to send another copy of the order. Since the customer never once bothered to contact us before filing this complaint, I will now ask that the customer give us the courtesy of simply contacting us through our website, and we will be happy to send another order out at no charge.

Please look at the email you sent us - you sent an email to a "no reply" email. A no reply email is not an email that can be replied to, which I believe is common knowledge.
So, as previously mentioned, we have not received even a single inquiry from this customer. Please review my previous response. If you contact us, we are happy to send you another order, free or charge. But you'll have to contact us to do that.

Our web inquiry form works just fine, and we respond very quickly. If the email goes into your spam folder, that is not our responsibility or our fault. It is your responsibility to check your spam folder, and adjust your filter settings to correctly categorize our emails. Further, I provided my direct email address in the previous reply, and have not received a single inquiry from you.
So no, contacting us by email or through our web form is NOT ineffective. Our staff is standing by ready to hear from you (which we have not yet).

You never once stated what the issue was in this BBB complaint. You simply asked for a refund without stating what the issue was. You did not even present any sort of complaint. You are essentially contacting us through the BBB for a simple customer support inquiry. The ******************** is not a customer support platform, it is a place to raise a legitimate complaint. But you have not presented any complaint at all.

I purchased a package for my birth certificate and social security card on April 10th 2023. I was supposed to receive a packet in the mail. I paid $100.00 and have sent numerous emails and the always reply saying a rep will be in touch in one day and no one ever calls...no packet has ever arrived and I cannot get anyone one the phone. Used their service, when I was in a pinch and guess I did not do enough research apparently. Submitted a request in August 2023 sent in the written forms September 2023. Called the number they had listed for my state and they had no record of my order and told me their site was a scam. I don't care about getting my money back at this point. I want to know where my personal information went and I want it deleted or terminated. I realized I got scammed and just don't want anything else to happen with them.Business Response

Hi there, and I am so sorry if you had a bad experience with us. But keep in mind, we are absolutely not a scam. The service we offer is to prepare birth certificate application documents in a simple package for you to submit so you can get your birth certificate. Did you not receive your package from us? If that's the case, did you contact us so we can send you another one? We have an option through the "Support" page at the top right of our website to submit such a request.
If alternatively you sent the package we prepared to the state and they have no record... well, either the employee you spoke with made a mistake, or it got lost in the mail, or the state lost it, or whatever else could have happened. We see state offices lose stuff all the time. After-all, they are humans. But why don't we just sent you another package and you can mail it in?

This company hosts a service stating that they will retrieve records for you. Birth certificate ETC.What this company won't say is that you'll be sent a letter with instructions about what needs to be mailed to the state body to get these records. which you'll also have to pay for, (25 dollars for me) so basically the company charges you over 50 dollars to tell you how to retrieve your records. Wish I would have been thinking more clearly, but I was Stressed and was on a time crunch and did not research more options. Inconclusion this company is taking money from hardworking people to send you a letter in the mail about how to fix the problem. most states and the federal government have a retrieval tool online. please do not fall for this scam.Business Response

I paid $59.99 for a package that they never sent. The 800 number on my credit card statement sends you to their website which I have used since February and it promises to send the package by mail or email and that hasn't happened yet.
