    Today on 7/22/22, I went to have breakfast/lunch with a group of friends. Their was about 8 of us in our party. We were greeted and seated down momentarily. I went to the Men’s restroom and it was dirty and it smelled unsanitary. We let the waitress know and she said thanks. At this time, their was a few 2-3 guest at the breakfast bar and my party. We began to order our food. The waitress stated that she was knew and learning. Mind you, the owners were sitting down at the breakfast bar, when they should have been shadowing the waitress. We ordered our food. As time passed, more guest began to arrive and were seated. The waitress would come check on us and she began to take other people’s orders. After about 20-30 minutes, the food slowly came out. Half of my party received their food, while the table in front of us got their food first (party of 2 whom were seated minutes after us). Only 1 person got their food from that table. So we continued to wait patiently and the waitress apologized and stated, “I already yelled at the cooks”. I don’t think that was the correct response to state as she is representing this establishment. After about 10 more minutes, People from the table behind us also began to receive their food. The rest of my parties food came out after about 45 minutes. My food was not hot nor tasted that well. I only ate it because I was very hungry and did not return it. Once it was time to pay, I asked the waitress if I could receive a discount due to poor customer service and extreme length time of my wait. She went to ask the owner of the restaurant and he “declined” to honor my request. I was forced to pay for a meal that did not warrant the service they should be providing. The owners of this establishment declined to speak to me. My parties and my experience that this establishment was horrible.

    To whom it may concern,

    I’m responding to this matter an concerns about the Service issues at Irene’s Family Dining, on July 22,2022 on Friday I ***** **** am the OWNER of the restaurant an as far I know the group of guests that were seated all together they even brought in a cake without giving us notice if that was ok that we would put it in the refrigerator for them an also we supplied the group with plates/forks for their party, Also the Men’s bathroom is checked every hour on the hour it’s never dirty like ****** said we’ve come along ways to keep that bathroom clean an presentable now the odor we try to keep on top of that since we’ve been opened no one has ever complained moving forward we’ve had a soft opening on July 7,2022, I have a hard time keeping cooks it seems no body wants to work. But as far as the waitress she was hired with very good experience it was her 1st day an she was asked by the Lead Waitress to go ahead an take care of the group party an she did I think she done was she could to take care of her guests, I ***** was in the kitchen prepping a pico de gallo an I heard really loud guests out in the dining room laughing just enjoying there fellowship so I peaked my head out to the dining area an I thought to my self I’m glad that some of my guests are having a good time that makes me happy. As far as the people sitting at the breakfast they have nothing to do with my business those are my parents there there to be of encouragement to me we are fairly a new business an if I would of been told about the request of ****** Reyes’s meal I would of honored an I apologize that I was never informed that someone asked to speak with the owner… If your food was not hot or tasty I feel that you should of returned it for a hot plate…

    I’m more than willing to refund your money of $10.92  for the Garden Benedict that you ordered..

    Mr. ****** ***** I feel that this could of been resolved this didn’t have to go this far so for me an my waitress we feel that it’s of our interest that you are no longer welcomed in my restaurant because we feel that you will come back just to come an judge us an find something else that you could complain about… For the length of time that YOU waited for your food please understand that we are fairly a new business short handed with cooks an waitresses.. From all the complaints from all kinds of businesses they are still up an running…
