I lived in an apartment building under a lease with Keystone Management for a year at *******************************************. I was never late on my rent even though none of my monthly withdrawals were made in a timely manner near the first of the month as was agreed upon, instead happening at random, usually towards the end in the month despite my asking for some regularity. Complaints made about needed repairs that were documented and signed by myself at move in were never attempted to be fixed, and any is*** that arose was either ignored, with the ** or their service member simply ceasing to respond. Finally, when I moved out, after having had a plumbing is*** during my last week go unattended for days without a response, I left the apartment in the best condition I could have given the deteriorating building as a whole, which aside from the hole they made to eventually stop the plumbing is***, was at least as clean as before I had moved in.The only review on the BBB website is from a ************** and I'm guessing that's ***********************, who is an employee of the company who I was supposed to contact when there was an is***. ***** has ignored my calls both then and since moving out, until after 90 days had expired, at which point she finally answered my calls about not having heard from them about the security deposit return. After a few more days of her avoiding me, she finally answered and told me they didn't even know I had moved out and no one had been in to inspect yet, so I needed to wait at least 90 more days, then hung up on me when I suggested that was not acceptable. Since then, I have contacted the ** ****** AG, whom agreed to speak with Keystone on my behalf, but told me my only recourse was to *** in small claims after the company failed to respond to their own attempts to contact them. I can't afford a lawyer, and had to move out of state, but this is the company's MO and it seems like they keep getting away with it in at least several buildings.
