      I asked for my deposit back, as I felt the dealership was acting very goon-like. In the end however, I waited 4 months for a car when I could have been waiting for another that would have panned out. My issue is not with the dealership charging a ****-up dealerships have the right to, but the fact that I was lied to about it and was waiting for a car and had trusted Acura of Stockton. I personally did not want to pay for a ****-up, and I confirmed that I would not be paying one on numerous occasions at any time the dealership could have informed me that I would be paying a ****-up and I would have requested to have my deposit refunded and would have walked away. I also did not appreciate how the ****-up was handled, per the text I am being lied to and deceived. I am spending thousands of dollars, and you are violating my trust, and forcing me to investigate your lies. Lastly, the delivery even Acura had said to me, that tracking was available, and I should have been notified. How does a car surprise you on the lot? See my emails and text. I know the market is in a unique place right now with limited options - I wanted to file a complaint against this dealer - my issue is on record.

      I understand your frustration and dissatisfaction with the services you received from Acura of Stockton. It does seem there was some miscommunication between you and the dealership staff regarding your vehicle's protection package accessories. It does look like your refund was processed immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you.  If you would like us to order, you a new vehicle without a protection package or a deposit on file we would be happy to do that for you.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      I think you failed to recognize that I put in a deposit for this car 4 months ago and waited for my car to come. 

      There was no miscommunication, there was deceit and lies regarding the add-on. And in regard to the delivery of the vehicle, there was no communication. 

      You asking me to wait for another 2 months to get the car which I ordered 4 months ago, and is at the dealership - is just plain wrong.

      Does what you are asking me to do, which is place my trust in a dealership that has screwed me once before, make sense to you ?
