    Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address the concerns regarding the account closure for a former resident at Rockwood at the Cascades. We strive to handle all move-out processes with clarity and fairness, adhering strictly to the outlined procedures.

    The resident in question moved out on February 10, 2024, during an eviction process. Following his departure, we conducted a thorough review of his account and determined that he owed a balance of $7,165.75. This amount reflected the accumulated charges up to the date of possession being returned to us.

    We sent the final account statement to the resident's forwarding address provided at the time of move-out to ensure he was fully informed of the outstanding balance. Unfortunately, despite multiple reminders, no payments were made toward settling the account. Consequently, as per our standard procedure for unresolved balances, the account was forwarded to a collections agency in April.

    We understand that handling such matters can be challenging, and we aim to provide all necessary documentation and support to our former residents during these transitions. If further discussion or documentation is needed to resolve this matter satisfactorily, or if the resident wishes to make payment arrangements, please have him contact us directly at ************.
