1 starThis is one of the worse dealerships I have ever dealt with The associates behind the customer service counter have very little knowledge of what they are doing. They will shuffle you from one place to another. It is very busy, taking in more vehicle's it can complete repairs in a timely manner. With one diesel mechanic on site, it is ridiculous for the dealership to think they can stay afloat. We had nothing but trouble with mechanics, representatives, such as, Odalys Montejo, and phone representatives. Lies, lies and more lies. Thank goodness the service manager over heard our trouble and after hearing his representative run us down, agreed to hear our concerns and difficulties. He was great. Though he couldn't do anything for us at that point, he offered his sincere apology. Unfortunately, the dealership has not improved these actions to date. My son took his diesel truck in for recalls that needed to be completed for DMV requests in order to complete his registration. Deadlines weren't meant, and the dealership refused to complete work in a timely manner. What a mess it was. Who monitors these dealerships? Where is is the accountability? Why should the consumer have to put up with such inept service? My family will definitely rethink the thought of purchasing another Ford vehicle . Sincerely, J*************Review fromGustavo B

1 starI have a 2021 ford raptor, got 5k miles on the truck and I'm hearing loud noises, scheduled an appointment and went over there and they wanted to charge me a $209 diag fee, I did not agree and left (they could've said over the phone they charge so i don't waste my time running around) I contacted a customer relations representative, and explained the situation, the customer rep from FORD called these people at DCH Ford thousand oaks, and David Pat said "the customer broke the vehicle, and so it would not be covered under warranty" This was done without even looking at the vehicle, I have a dash camera in my vehicle and have footage of me exiting the dealership service lane without my truck ever entering their garage for inspection. Furthermore, the reason I left was because I was told I would be charge a $209 service inspection fee, so if I rejected to pay this fee, how could my vehicle have been inspected??? It is totally inappropriate for DCH Ford Service to have informed Ford customer service that the faulty front differential mounting and resulting damage should not be covered under warranty. These people are crazy liars.Review fromthomas r

1 starWarning!!! Purchased a used truck 2021 F250. Within 100 miles of ownership transmission starts shifting hard(noticed on test drive was told it was normal) , all usb ports not working, front and back, camera system screens turn blue, Drivers window wont roll up. I was assured by the salesman truck has had full inspeorction and zero issues. They did offer a warranty at a crazy high price. Living out of town the truck has currently been at my local dealership waiting on transmission repair, two new cameras, and a sync module I was counting on this vehicle now I have no truck or transpiration!! Was told by Joe the sales manger sorry about your luck and my dealership is in it for the money. Dhc sold me junk, there is no way the truck was inspected !!!! J** said because i live 100 miles away sorry about your luck!Review fromPat N.

1 starI ordered a 2022 Mach E Select in February of this year through Ford's website and selected my local dealer, DCH Ford in Thousand Oaks, to deliver it. I placed a $1500 deposit. Though the estimate to receive the car was 20 weeks, I've waited nearly 30 weeks since then, and currently the car is in transit, set to arrive at the dealership possibly today. A week ago I called DCH Ford and asked GSM J*** ("***") ****** if it was possible to purchase the car with a CA Resale License to avoid paying the sales tax, and if I could register the car non-operational at the dealership. The GSM never asked me why - the answer being, I am considering selling the car to a family member who asked me to buy it, but the reservation is in my name. The GSM told me to write him an email with my questions so that he could forward it to "his contact" at the DMV to get answers. When I followed up via email a week later on 10/10/2022, the GSM then called me. He said that because I was looking to "flip" the car, my reservation would be cancelled despite my deposit. He told me that he had referred my email to Ford, rather than the DMV and was cancelling the reservation with Ford's blessing. I then asked Mr. Magana what would then happen to my vehicle, and he stated that the dealership would take possession and would sell it to someone else. I inquired of Mr. Magana if he intended to sell my reserved vehicle to someone else for above MSRP and he said "yes, it's because of people like you flipping vehicles that we HAVE TO sell it above MSRP" It seems clear now that since Mr. Magana forwarded my email to Ford instead of the DMV, his intent was to get me to produce an email which he could use as a cause to cancel my Mach E order. Other BBB Complaints site similar behavior from Mr. Magana. I contacted a salesperson at the dealership who told me that they intend to sell all Mach E Models for a $10,000 markup + another $5,000+ in dealer added equipment. The motive here is clear. 1 starDo Not Support this dealership. My friend ordered an F250 from here 9 months ago. He paid for the truck, taxes, and licensing/registration at time of order. It was a platinum addition and was supposed to be delivered with certain upgrades. Not only did the production take longer than quoted, but when it did arrive a few days ago, it was missing some very expensive options. DCH offered a $300 rebate from Ford for options that were worth several thousand. After several visits, they did offer to up the rebate to $500. Still not thrilled with the deal, I took him to pick it up today. When we walked into the building one of the salesman condescendingly asked my friend what body guard he brought today. We then were sent to a cubicle to wait for the paperwork. After 30 mins we were tired of sitting and walked up front. They had just pulled the truck up. It wasn’t fueled or ready for delivery…. We then waited another 30 mins for that to take place. Once finished, another salesman came in and informed us the price of the truck and total after taxes, licensing and registration which came out to roughly $4,000 more. We were both baffled as to how a truck paid in full upon order is now more expensive…. My friend stood up and walked into the general managers office where more condescension takes place and he is told that they’re “tired of going about this 6 ways…. Just wire him back his money!” We walked out of the dealership. Today marked three days in a row he had gone to take delivery of his truck. Why do the terms keep changing every visit? Why did Joe, the sales manager make the comment yesterday that he could “sell the truck for more if it were on their lot”? Seems like they would prefer my friend walk so they could do just that... I’ve always known car dealerships to be sheisters but this is a whole other level. Do yourself a favor and go to Galpin in the valley. This group is on their way to a lawsuit for attempting to defraud customers.Review fromBrian B

1 starEarn Customers for Life. Improve Constantly. Take Personal Ownership. Have Fun! Lithia Motors Decree If I could. I would give this shady dealer a 0. They stole my reservation for a Ford Bronco and converted it into to a order which I did not consent to. I have bought vehicles from them before and can not believe they would do such a thing. Now they tell that I have to pay a premium for it because of there allocation. I ask them to transfer my reservation over to my new dealer. They said we can not do such a thing because its in order status. I DID NOT ORDER. All I want is my original Reservation I had paid for in the first place. Just remember they did it to me they can do it to you. I have a open case with Ford and if this does not get resolved I will look into legal action.Review fromRysn D

1 starDCH Ford stands for DONT COME HERE Saw an ad on CarGurus.com for a used 2019 Lexus ux 200, listed for $32895. We get to the dealership and find out that the car is more expensive since they added a gps theft system and anti dent stickers for the car. I told them I do not need the additional features. Per their response, the additional added features cannot be removed and that they will waive the cost to sweeten the deal. We originally wanted 34-35k out of the door and since they added included the features ($1.5k value) we were okay with the final out the door price of $36.1k. We gave the verbal okay and GM JOSE CONGRATULATED US WITH A HANDSHAKE. Waited about 1-2 hours for the finance guy and signed paperwork. An hour later after we left, I called the dealership and asked how to use the gps theft system. They said that was not part of the deal and since we signed paperwork, they can't do anything about it. Its funny how they added to anti dent stickers but removed the gps theft system (SHADY!) I tried to explain but GM J*** ****** accused us for asking for more free stuff. That there is nothing we can do since we signed all the paperworks. That it was our fault for not carefully reviewing all the paperwork before signing. It will probably take a lawyer a couple of hours to review all the paperwork we had to sign in the 5-15 mins spent with the finance manager. If this is how you treat your customers, the business may last, but the management will not. BEWARE, GM JOSE MAGANA is a very experienced car salesman that knows all the tricks. If dealing with him, ask to record your conversation with him so you are protected in some way. I will never recommend anyone to do business with DCH Ford or anywhere GM Jo** ****** is selling cars.
