    I wanted to help out a local small business so I called Dawgone Plumbing. He came and tried to snake my drain two different ways and could not clear my line. The when it came time to pay he charged me the full amount he would have charged for fixing the problem. I had to call another plumbing company because he would not commit to fixing my line if he broke it from using another type of snake head, (I live in a mobile home so it is not easy to climb under my coach), so I could not let him try under those circumstances. You would think he would have split his fee with me since I had to call another plumber to fix what he could not and he was aware that I was going to have to do that, but he still charged me the full amount. I understand he is a small business, however, that does not mean it is ok to throw any type of ethics out the window. I am very disappointed in my encounter with Dawgone plumbing, and unfortunately I will be leery of helping out small businesses in the future. I learned a valuable lesson to be sure and get a verbal understanding regarding the companies ethics when it comes to whether they fix the problem they are there to fix.
