    In February 2023, I went to Torrance Family Dental to have a partial denture made for me by ***************************, D.D.S.. She told me it wasnt covered by my insurance so I would be responsible for the full cost of $800.00, of which she required a payment of 50% immediately with the remainder to be paid upon delivery. I agreed and she got started. While it was being made, I went back to her on 5 more occasions for additional measurements. I told her it was causing me pain because it was digging into the roof of my mouth and I was unable to bite down. She assured me that she would address my concerns later with more adjustments. In late March, I went in for the final fitting and it didnt fit. I couldnt bite down at all and she was erratic because she didnt understand. Finally, she concluded the partial had a tooth in place where I wasnt missing a tooth. Therefore, she said an immediate tooth extraction was required. I wasnt going to let her pull my tooth and she walked out of the room saying she needed to review the notes to figure out where the miscommunication occurred. When they called me to go back, she apologized for her unprofessional behavior that day but she wasnt use to not knowing what was going on. At this point, she tells me I still need to extract my tooth in order for the partial to fit. I refuse to have a perfectly good tooth removed so I request a full refund to which she denies me. To this day, I have not received the partial I paid for and I am out the $400.00. She hasnt reached out to me to resolve this.
