We signed a contract with Green Living, **/ Green Living, **** on 11/29/2022. Green Living was given authorization to charge our ********** credit card for a down payment of $1000.00 for a roof and solar installation. The remaining balance was to be paid via a finance group, *************** per account ****** in the amount of $29,000 paid over time for 20years at a fixed rate of 1.5%. This would make our monthly payment close to $175 dollars a month applied to our mortgage via our tax payment. We signed our original document of work completed on 2/28/2023 after repeated threats from Green Living of a mechanical lien on our home, despite that solar panels not working or our ********* ************** approving our solar application ******. The finance company, ***************, indicated to ** that they could not approve payment to Green Living since they did not have the necessary permits (roof permit/solar installation permit) submitted from Green Living on 3/16/2023. They informed ** that if Green Living had any questions regarding payment, they should call ***************, as Green Living continuously harassed and threatened a mechanical lien. After review of their contractors license and a complaint submitted to the Contractors ******************* for the *******************, we were informed that their license had been revoked on 3/13/2023 (License *******, Complaint F ***********. On 3/23/2023 Green Living charged our ********** card the balance of $29,000, without our consent, as I had the credit card in my possession at the time of processing. We called ***** bank on 3/27/23 to submit a fraud claim. However, the claim for fraud was closed on 4/13/23 and a new merchant dispute claim has been opened with *****. We have been rebilled the full amount of $29,000 to our ********** card, our credit card is now maxed out and we dont expect to receive any notification from ***** for the next x30 days.

I hired Greenliving on July ***** to do my roof for $20,000. During the contract phase, I explained in detailed that I had issues with the roof, specifically with water leaking from one of the bathrooms and explained that I would like to get a new roof as I was concern that it would become a bigger problem later on. The whole house was carefully and meticulously assessed by Greeenliving personnel. During this assessment I pointed out the issue I was having with the water leaking from bathroom and they ensured that once the roof was done, the problem would be resolved. They came out once and stated that the sky light was broken and that after they fix it, the leaking would stop (sky light was never a problem prior to fixing roof). Unfortunately, I continue to have the same problem every time it rains. I have made countless attempts to resolve the issue and nothing has been done to resolve it. I have left numerous messages, written e-mails and I have not gotten a response. I received one phone call back and they asked for pictures, which I sent via e-mail and they also mentioned that I would have to pay a $250 fee just for them to come out and see/inspect the problem. I was also told that the roof was done "a long time ago." When I was calling during the ******19 pandemic I was told that the company was not allowing employees to go to people's homes due to the pandemic. I continued to call thereafter and I was told that I would receive a call back and this is not the case and the times I have spoken to one of the employees nothing was resolved. I am still waiting for a reply to the e-mail I sent on March 15, 2023 and several calls that I made that same week. This company is very unprofessional and treat customer's concerns with no urgency.

GreenLiving installed our roof in August of 2019. 2 weeks ago the ceiling inside of our kitchen started bubbling and leaking. The Platinum Warranty contract we signed and and were promised with our rep ************************* confirms a 50 year labor and parts warranty which GreenLiving told us was registered and taken care of. I have left SEVERAL messages for GreenLiving and cannot get a response. I have also contacted ***** Corning and they have informed me that our warranty was NEVER registered. ****************** suggested I have another company who is contracted through them come assess the damage to determine if it is a material issue or a labor issue which is causing the leak. I have a quote and breakdown from that company. This is to be completely under warranty however GreenLiving failed to register our Warranty ***************. This is written on our contract and was guaranteed to us even if "green living was to go out of business" due to them being a "platinum provider". I need our warranty issue dealt with along with the current damage done due to poor workmanship. I have attached the invoice/breakdown from the other roofing company that assessed the damage along with a copy of our Contract/Warranty. We have damage that is now internal that must be fixed as well. Please contact me at ************ ASAP. Our facia wasn't finished either despite multiple calls and voice-mails.

Green Living CA completed work in September 2022 which included replacing french doors, stucco repair and painting, and addressing wood issues at the kitchen door. On 12/31/2022 - 1/1/2023 there was water intrusion through the french doors which the company sent someone out to repair. As of 2/24/2023 the water intrusion continues and the company has not been responsive to requests for repair. On 3/4/2023 stucco work that has been done on the house is bubbling in areas, and today 3/20/23 it was noticed that wood that was supposed to be patched and fixed (or replaced) is now cracking again. The company sent out their "*******" on 3/20/23 which the person hat arrived was not part of their company and said they were doing their friend a favor. Green LIving's contractor's license is revoked by the state so they are not able to do the work themselves but are not contracting with a licensed contractor to assess or complete the work. The vendor also has closed down their office and it is unknown what their actual office location is at this time.

GreenLiving will send out a licensed contractor to assess the damage and repair the job.

I am rejecting this response because: the company has not responded to multiple calls and correspondence. Due to lack of response I have had to engage other contractors to repair the work and have already entered contracts to repair and work has started. I will now attempt to recover my out of pocket expenses due to failure to handle by the company with ample time provided.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

They have not finished the job? They left about *********************************************************************** the front yard. I originally sent them a check minus $1500 as they didn't finish and they asked me to stop pay on that check and pay the entire balance with a promise to finish the job. A representative came to my house to pick up the final check and we can't get a hold of anyone. They still have their sign on our property that we want removed. To make matters worse, they keep sending a daily email to give them a review online, yet the email asks if the job is done and we keep sending it back, No, please finish the job. We have made several calls to the local office and the corporate office. Many times, no one picks up the phone.

GreenLiving installed 2 flat roofs on our home in September 2021. We had nothing but problems, the work was not good quality and communication was horrible. They put ABS pipe (not drain pipes) coming out of a drain above our garage and it was right next to our electrical panel and it was crooked! Weve since found out that the ******* on the project as well as the office production manager have been fired. Nothing has been done to fix the problems that were caused after we paid $13,000. We were also told we had a warranty with ******************. I never received information about it after asking several times. Workers came back out to fix issues but nothing was actually fixed, they just made the pipe look slightly less worse. I gave up dealing with them because I wasnt getting anywhere and I didnt have the time to keep arguing with them. Fast forward to January 2023 and we have a substantial leak in our flat roof. After talking to an experienced roofer not affiliated with GreenLiving, the leak is coming from the seams in the flat roof material, that are brittle and stretched. This is from them being installed improperly and not sealed well enough and also from water sitting on our flat roof because we were told we didnt need a drain in that area. A scupper was placed that is completely worthless. I contacted GreenLiving right away on Thursday 1/26 to discuss them coming out. I also asked about our warranty, because I had never received that information. I was promised a call back on Monday 1/30. Called and left a voicemail on Monday and Tuesday and finally heard back Wednesday 2/1 and was told our warranty was with ***** Corning and wed have to pay $250 for someone to come look at the leak. I called ***** Corning and was told we didnt have a policy with them and that they also only produce shingles and not flat roof products. Interesting, because we have a flat roof. I think GreenLiving realized they messed up because they sent someone out on 2/1 but it was a sales rep and even he didnt know why he was out there. He took pictures and I also sent him all the pictures and videos we had taken. After 2 more voicemails and texts, I got a call back on Monday 2/6 asking for all the pics and video to be emailed, which I did (and the sales rep had already given as well). I was then basically ghosted for a week. Texted and called everyday to get an answer and heard NOTHING. Got a call back Monday 2/13 saying she had been out for a week (was nobody else in the office available to back up?!) and would call me the next morning. Never heard, gave her a day and called Wednesday 2/15 and left a voicemail. She called back and basically said that the owner wont refund our money and that they will send a roofer out to assess to repair the work (was never actually scheduled). I was VERY clear that I have ZERO faith in their company because they cant even return a phone call promptly. I was also informed that her last day with the company is today, 2/17 and she would do everything in her power to help me before leaving (didnt happen, never even got a call back). I was again promised a call from the owner, which I never received. We have a hole in our bedroom ceiling covered with plastic and rain in the forecast all next week. Nobody answers when I call the office and in 3 weeks, weve had 1 person come out, and he wasnt even a roofer! I am beyond fed up and just want communication from the company! Plus at least a partial refund. We paid $13,000 so we deserve half back because 1 of the 2 roofs they installed needs to be fixed so Id say a $6,500 refund will do the trick. Oh, and the info for our apparent warranty. GreenLiving is an awful company and promises way more than they can deliver. A company should have the basic skills to have communication and return a phone call.

We hire my wife and I green living for solar and roof contract, I gave them right away my gas and electric bill so they could figure out the correct amount of solar panels needed, previously I had received another quote from a different solar company, so I would compare apples to apples a they say, needless to say after a few minutes they, salesman or associates from green living had a quote, right away we told them that we were told by the other contractor, that we needed a minimum of 22 to 23 solar panels to completely cover the portion of our electric bill $420-$460, do to having a pool, and electric heater and air conditioner running most of the year.(in season accordingly). My wife and I knew already the approximate cost because of quote in hand. According to salesman( wont disclose names because of waiting for other actions) I was told that Green Living had the newest and best solar panels in the market, and that I would only need a total of 13 panels, and was assured that it would cover my electric bill, may have to pay $10-$20 for service, again my wife and I asked why was the other contractor suggesting 23 panels, and they immediately went back to what previously said, that their panels put out more wattage and we did not need as many. We looked at the cost of both contractors and their basically the same cost. we where also given a quote for new roof, 50 year warranty top of the line,After 2-3hours later that evening we told them that we are tired and we could continue the next day when my wife was present. Because I disclosed that I was impaired due to chronic insomnia and heavy medications, they made a call to the manager and he approved a discount on roof, because they had some material leftover from another job, gave a deposit because they could start within a week more less. Next day I was pressured to sign contract to save my spot, due to my illness I had no idea what I signed, but still I thought we are getting a good deal because the other contractor was not available for 6 months. 4months later I get first electric bill with solar working and is half of what I was paying before. I called several times, they would look in to it. Why in the world would I have spent $20,thousand on a partial bill, I was finally told that they never claimed that it would cover full cost of electric bill, and that I should had done my home work.

We were contracted to install a **** KW solar system on this house on 7/20/22. We installed the system the following month and got the system running promptly after final inspections were completed.

The property owners reached out to our company 3 months later at the end of November concerned that they system was not working because they were still receiving an electric bill for over $400. I personally discussed the issue with the property owners on multiple occasions and explained plainly that their electricity usage is unusually high, and is too high for their solar system to cover.

Our sales team can not and does not promise any home owners that installing solar panels will reduce their electric bill to any specific price, because it isn't possible to predict electric usage after the project is done.

The only solution for this electricity bill issue is for the homeowner to reduce their electric usage or to have more panels installed on their house.
