5 starsWhen I was told the time had come for an Aortic Valve Replacement (***) surgery, I was scared, lost in confusion and choices. I found the Heart Valve Surgery website/blog. They were a life saver. The fellow patients and those like me still facing heart surgery quickly surrounded me with love, support and correct answers. The different presentations by Heart doctors gave me the information I needed to face and recover from this very invasive major surgery. I cannot thank them enough for walking me thru the *** before hand so I was armed with confidence to go into the surgery. I have recommended them to ***************, who in turn recommends them to his other patients with confidence that they will get the support they too need. I still check in with the site to learn about new procedures and encourage others with upcoming surgery.

5 starsLately I am a candidate for a TAVR procedure. I live a rural area that is hard to find good doctors and hospital. I found heartvalvesurgery.com. It is a wonderful platform to assist patients and families to navigate through the scary information of heart surgery. During the webinars they interview heart surgeons around the country to explain everything to make the process less scary.

5 starsI would highly recommend this website if you are facing heart surgery that involves a heart valve. A family member of mine has a lot of things going on and is facing surgery (aortic root replacement, aortic valve replacement, ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm.) I found that this website contained a wealth of information, and it helped my family member to educate himself so that he could ask good questions of the surgeon. I like that the website contains videos as well as transcripts of the interviews that are done with various experts. I like to have things in writing, so the transcripts are very helpful. Everything is explained so well - you don't need to have a medical degree to understand the information presented! I have e-mailed in questions and have received very prompt responses along with other resources. Honestly, if you are facing surgery, this would be my go-to place to learn more.HeartValveSurgery.com

5 starsHeartValveSurgery.com is one fantastic site! I signed up for free monthly newsletters about 2 years ago after my aortic stenosis diagnosis. I knew nothing. The newsletter has easy to read articles, information, patient journals, and also frequent webinars by leading cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from all across *******. They cover types of surgery, types of valve replacements, recovery expectations and a world of other topics. There is absolutely no cost and no solicitation of money in any way...just everything I need to know to help me understand my way forward.HeartValveSurgery.com
