      On 2.29.24, I discovered I had a roof leak and emailed Scott Management employee ***** to request an inspection & repair. Inspection was completed on 3.7.24. I emailed ***** every 3 - 4 days requesting an update. ***** would reply from time to time with no updates. I requested the information on the next board meeting, or a point of contact so i can address my roof leak. No reply. I asked what is the board's review process. No reply.On 3.25.24, a month after my roof leak was discovered and approximately 10 emails of requests, I called ***** and asked for an update. ***** again stated no update. I asked the board's contact information. ***** stated she could not give out the board's contact information per policy.I asked when is the next board meeting so I can attend. ***** stated no board meeting has been scheduled, and if a meeting is scheduled she would notify all residents. I advised ***** that I have been living here for approximately 8 years and NEVER received a board meeting invitation. ***** became impatient and stated there is nothing that she can do. I asked her for her advice to address this issue, since her company is the buffer between residents and the *** Board. ***** again stated in a very impatient tone that there is nothing that I can do except to wait.I pleaded with *****, begging her to help me as I am very concerned about my roof leak causing structural damage to my unit. ***** repeated, that there is nothing she can do. I asked her when was the last board meeting. ***** stated it would take her a long time to research it and I would have to call again for that information.I was unable to obtain any information on the previous or the future board meetings. No contact information on the board. No response on my questions of the board's review process. Since my roof leak was discovered, it rained twice more and I am deeply concerned. I truly wish ***** could be more sympathetic with this stressful issue.

      This property management company is no longer responding to my emails regarding providing a stock certificate showing Im an owner (coowner/father passed away in November 2022). I need the document to evict a tenant and despite me providing documentation requested, they stopped acknowledging or responding to my emails since September 2023 (have been attempting to get a resolution since May 2023). I continue to pay almost $600 every month and cannot evict this individual until I get this document from them. Looking for a response and a solution.

Despite my sincere efforts to connect with your office, I have been unable to secure a meeting with a manager to discuss a pressing concern.On September 29, 2023, I visited your office in ******** with the hope of arranging a meeting with a manager. To my disappointment, none of them were available at the time. As a result, I feel compelled to bring this issue to your attention publicly.I wish to express my ongoing concern related to the unresolved problems with the ventilation system in my apartment at *********** Spring and throughout the entire building. As you may recall, we previously reported this issue through ********'s report on August 2, 2023.       Due to your concerns the ***** of ********* called an emergency meeting to discuss air quality and ventilation concerns with an industry expert. This meeting took place on October 10, 2023 at 4:00 pm. 

      Seeking the recommendation of this expert required additional time.  

      At the time of this response, it is our understanding that the board of directors has put you in direct communication with the Community manager and their team.

      At Scott Management Company we choose to update projects ONLY when there is something actionable. 

      It is important to remember that managers and their team works on behalf of the direction of the ***** of *********.

      I have been trying to replace a gate pass for two weeks. *** left messages in the general mailbox. I called over and over straight to voicemail. That is, they dont even answer the phone like a responsible business . And from what I am reading the employees are miserable there too. I finally got to talk to someone yesterday. And ******* didnt call back, neither did ***** or ***********Last year they tried to squeeze money out of me for a leak that was clearly in the common area beneath the floor. But back to the point Do I have to contact the Better Business Bureat to get access to my unit?Scott Management is pretty worthless so far. Im going to recommend firing them at the next HOA Meeting. I lost my parking pass and need a replacement now. Mail me a pass or have an HOA member deliver one to unit 342

      this company does not reply to shareholder requests for information. they do not maintain the pool yet increase monthly dues. they do not reply to resident emails or calls. i have asked for the same items of information since july and never once have i received a single reply with the info. now the pool is broken again yet they do not care enough to let us know or open the other pool in the meantime. its been one month now since it broke. why are we paying for something we can not use

      At your place of residence, there is a committee made up of volunteer shareholders that oversee the pool facilities. The committee addresses pool-related problems with a third party service provider. At times/if necessary, the Committee escalates the repair process for oversight by the management company. Scott Management is not in receipt of notice from the committee stating that the pool is not working.

      Scott Management team is horrible and very unprofessional.They have assigned to my account invoices on 11/162022 I have not seen, and when I requested the invoices last week for these charges the account manager ********************* refuses to send them.I have requested arbitration over these billing disputes and despite having a clear disagreement with my board over the responsibility of these invoices, Scott Management is refusing to honor my request for arbitration over these billing disputes. I would highly recommend never using Scott Management if you are an HOA who values your members being treated with equity by your management company.

      As a member of a HOA I am ENTITLED to documents such as contracts and invoices. To date I have not received any of the requested documents, nor has my right to arbitration been addressed at all by the board nor the Scott Management. As of yet I am not able to claim that Scott Management is in breach of their fuduciary duties as Scott Management has not provided me with a copy of their agreement with my HOA. I recommend NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY, nor *********************, their most disrespectful agent I have encountered to date.

      December 2022 Rain was falling into my home and damaging my belongings A report was made to the South Bay View Terrace that the windows which were installed before moving in were defective and still in warranty. On February 22, 2022, The vendor wrote to *** that they would need to replace (3) windows in the unit and understand that the windows previously installed were Bayview. They had discontinued the Bayview series and now have the Panoramic series as a replacement. Documentation was attached showing the details of the window series option. It was a time-sensitive matter as the rain destroyed my home paired with the shipping issues. The vendor requested approval from HOA prior to ordering the windows. On February 22nd *** wrote The owner is to complete and return the attached architectural modification form with all related documentation On March 9, 2022, An architectural modification form was sent to *** stating exactly which windows would be changed. Follow-up emails were sent several times to *** asking for approval. Throughout the window installation, *** continued to ignore correspondence from the vendors and homeowners. *** finally wrote that she was going to discuss it with the board members Friday, March 25th - The architectural board met On April 18 2022 *** came back and stated what was approved. *** stated that the approved manufacturer and model are Anlin Bay View or Panoramic windows. On September 27, 2022, After having the windows installed *** sent a disciplinary Board of Director meeting notice. She is only responsive when she needs to send a retaliatory message. Throughout the past few years, *** has shown favoritism towards the Board of Directors. *** continually allows the Board of Directors to bully homeowners even after reports are made of bullying.

      Scott Management has made a complete mess taking over our condo management. They are denying me a vendor list which I'm entitled to as a homeowner. Elevator hasn't been working and we have paid a Special Assesment of $***** Now they are asking for another $****** special assessment. They won't reveal if elevator will start working again. We have disabled people in the building who are struggling. Our bikes were stolen and they did not respond or show me any camera footage. They keep raising our Hoa but we don't have explanation to where the money is going. Our property will decrease in value because of their neglect. I have nightmares because of them not showing any sensitivity or professionalism. This has been a daily struggle. We pay for vendors that don't show up Each unit pays $****** × 84 UNITS= ****** Per month not including Special Assesments and really they're not managing it well. I feel ripped off and dismissed. I'm not receiving report showing where this money is going and need to resolve this immediately

I already reported the stolen bikes to the police but Scott Management denied us access to our storage for a year,therefore, our bikes were stolen because of exposure. The gate to our car port wasn't closing and a car with many other things were also stolen. I haven't seen our pool guy for a couple of years and I was told we're were given a big fine because our pool did not comply. Scott Management has neglected our building and doesn't want to cooperate with the Board and 3 of the members left.
