    My 1st time went to Modern Women's Care was in 2020. Booking appointment was fairly easy & quick,***************** can see me within the week as compare to other places. I told the front desk my copay for ***** should be $25 but they insisted it's $30 and hence I was charged $30 to my credit card. 2 weeks later, I received a statement from my insurance company stating that my copay for Modern Women's visit is $25. I then called the office and asked for refund. The front desk said I can use for my next visit but didnt want to issue a refund. In April 2022, I need ************* pills so I went to Modern Women's Care and the $5 finally got applied to my copay. I asked ********* for************** prescription and the doctor said not if I do "an" ultrasound. So I told the front desk that***************** asked me to do "an" ultrasound. Ultrasound was quickly booked and I asked what's the charge for ultrasound. The front desk said $250 and did not check my insurance coverage. I asked "$250 before my insurance coverage? and they said yes that's the rate". Did the ultrasound and went to another appt with ********* to reviewed the result. The doctor spent less than 3 min with me and finally gave me************** prescription. Weeks later, a bill came in and I was charged $480 x 2 (before my insurance coverage) for "2" ultrasounds. I was confused no one said I need "2" ultrasounds and isn't the rate $250? I talked to the manager and she said she will find out and will call me. It's been over 3 months and I still have not received her call. They keep sending me statements and calling me to pay the balance (the portion after my insurance coverage) and I told them I got billed incorrectly it should be $250 x2 not $480. This is so wrong. They can't bill me whatever rate they want. So one day, I called and acted as a new patient looking for a new doctor and I ask how much is an ultrasound cost. ********, the person answered my call, said $250! What a deceiving practice!
