Hello I would like to file the complaint against TRACY CHEVROLET/********* CHEVOLET FRESNO. The problem was the gear shift in a 2010 corvette. I had services done in Tracy to fix the gear shift once I got to ****** the gear shift was once again stuck. I called TRACY CHEVROLET to inform them the issue was still present, I was advised to take it to ******** CHEVROLET in ****** who kept the vehicle for more than 2 months, repaired the gear shift but charged me an additional ******* without my approval and would not release the vehicle until the payment was received.Initial Complaint

My 2017 *********** has a recall notice for the brake assist with a level of severity being a 4 (indicating higher chances of collision) on my LoJack app. I called Chevrolet services **** and scheduled an appt with the representative on 07/19/24. She told my wife my car had to have fallen under the policy, which is either under 100k miles OR have the conditions the recall is describing. Which is the brake assist vacuum. We have been experience issues as well. She told us, we did not have to pay and that the service would be free. We had confirmed with said representative multiple times before hanging up that the service was free since it fell under policy and it was a recall notice tied to the vehicle. So today Monday 07/22/24 at 11:15AM, the men in the services **** tried to charge me $215 for a diagnostic and have me sign paperwork before they took a look at my vehicle. I assured them the woman told us it was a free service and that our car was under policy for the recall. They continued to reject me about the service and continued to try to charge me for a diagnostic that they told me was free. Now this is ridiculous and the recall says we have a higher chance of crashing with this ongoing issue. If I have to I will be speaking with legal services about this. I have a wife and 6 kids and this is jeopardizing our safety! I was simply doing my part and bringing the vehicle in to have an issue taken care of. They were completely unprofessional and very rude! Very dismissive and tried to insult my intelligence. Help please.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2020 Cadillac XT5 from this business 4 weeks ago and i didnt drive it for the first two weeks. Afterwards I started driving it and noticed the tire pressure kept getting low. I called the sales person ****** and he basically said well we dont know if you did it. They know I hardly drive and I called them once I started driving and noticed the tire pressure low. I went to a tire place and it was confirmed the driver rear tire has a piece of metal on the side of the tire which is irreparable. The dealership is saying they wont replace the tire because I drove it. I told them they didnt do a bumper to bumper inspection because they wouldve found there was no spare tire. They are so called charging me less for the tire but its not and I feel they should replace the tire.Customer Answer

On Oct 22, 2023 I had my car repaired at Tracy Chevrolet for the amount of 1760$ . Soon after the car had the same problem. They warranty their parts up to 24 months and when I took it back to them said it was a different problem one day then said it was the same but its none of the parts they worked on which isn't true. My father is a 72 year old retired Air Force Officer who lives in ********. I live here in the ******** in ********** where I run a construction company. I purchased a new 2023 ***** 1500 last year, and my dad loved it when he visited. He began to look for one when he got home. He found what he wanted at the dealership in Tracy CA. He went through the process with the dealership and applied for credit/got it, made an offer that was accepted, and bought tickets to come buy the truck and arranged this with the dealership. He got a call from the dealership asking if he wanted the extended warranties etc. He said no. 5 minutes later they cancelled the sale and told him it had already sold. They are employing bait and switch tactics. Listing a vehicle for a low price, setting up a deal, then canceling the deal if the person doesn't accept the added warranties that they make good money on. Then moving to the next customer. I contacted GMC Corperate via email. Here's their response: Good evening, **** Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We wouldn't want any customer to experience what you've described. I purchased a vehicle from Tracy Chevrolet on 3/13/2023,they have not completed the proper paperwork with the California DMV, it's been 5 months and I just found the bank that who 4he loan is through sent them a buy back letter because they've haven't completed any of the paperwork. My registration is due this month 8/31/2023 and I'm not able to do so because the vehicle isn't in my name and the paperwork is in limbo. I agreed to buy a new 2023 Camaro at the advertised price. Sales guy (***************************) was flaky with availability. I sold investments to have cash for the purchase and suddenly they jacked up the price by $5k even though we had an agreement in writing. Im reporting the dealership to the State Attorney General and Chevrolet. On 3/31/2023, went into Tracy Chevrolet for an oil change & on 4/2, I had my BF check the ************ noticed a rag in my engine. Went to Tracy Chevrolet to discuss this with *** the Service Mgr. & he stated he needed to discuss the matter with the tech. He did &address both of our concerns & offered a free oil service as a courtesy. Thanked him for following up & offering me that service. Fast forward, 5/13, while driving to *********** on HWY 152, my car's check engine light went on & at once pulled over. Despite the check engine light going on, the car was drivable. When I got to ***********, my BF checked ran a test that gave us a code of a P0299, which was the Turbocharger code. The next day, on 5/14, the check engine wasnt on anymore. I was able to drive the car home which was about 100 miles. **** no issues, on 6/1, I was headed back to *********** & about 87 miles in (Santa **** area) the cars check engine light went on. I pulled over to check the engine, as I normally would an no issues. On Saturday, June 3rd the car was leaking radiator fluid bc the water hose busted & needed to be repaired. During my stay, I decided to have my car towed home because of the issue. On Monday, 6/5 I called ***, unfortunately, he is out until 6/20. His voicemail said to reach out to, *************************** & so I did. I drove the car to him (as he asked) to inspect the car & let him know the car had twice the oil a car should have. He said the water pump was out & it would cost me near $1300 to fix & assess if the Turbocharger was going out. I declined the water pump service & had my BF fix it. . Both my ****** had told him the cars water pump was out & the car read that code P0299 code. The 6/6 took it back to the **** so that he could have his mechanic test drive the car to see if the Turbocharger was going out. The turbocharger needed to be repaired. During that inspection, they drained the 3/4 over full of oil the car had and I declined the turbocharger $2300 repair.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle on 9/04/22, I still havent picked up the vehicle due to the fact it didnt pass safely and smog. The company refused to cancel the sale.
