I went to the hospital and doctor ordered a Two Button Walker with 5in Wheels adult 300lbs weight Capacity. I received a bill for $12.68 and the AMT. Invoiced is $92 and Amt paid/adjusted is 79.32. I think Pacific Medical is overcharged clients and insurance. That walker doesn’t worth $92 dollars, I can easily find it at Amazon, Walgreen or Walmart for 30 to 40 dollars. It is ridiculous for this company to scam people and it is unethical. Someone please look into it

Charged for an orthopedic boot in my local walk-in clinic that my primary care told me 3 days later that I didn't need. I spoke to someone at least a month ago and they said they didn't realize I was on secondary ****. Got yet ANOTHER bill today, adding $25. When I call to talk to the billing department I'm on hold for about 3 minutes and then hung up on. This occurred many times today. I even spoke to a receptionist (chose the "0" option to talk to a real person who said "they are aware that there's a problem" with getting through to the billing department and would send my request for writing off the rest of this bill for now $110.33. This company is a HUGE scam.

They don't just overcharge - they bend you over! I'm very disappointed that any doctor's office or medical facility would use this company for providing orthopedic equipment. And that's the shame of it - you don't even get a chance to say yes or no. I asked the urgent care how much it was, and they acted like they didn't really know, and gave me an approximate guess. NO WAY NEAR what this company ended up charging me $185 for a mediocre knee brace that is $55 online from any retailer.

So disappointed that my cloth sling that I was sent home with from Surgery cost me $110. After reading all the reviews I decided to just pay and not let this injustice ruin my day.

I went to a local *********** on 5/15/2023 and received crutches from the office when leaving the doctor's office. I paid for the crutches on site, and started receiving delinquency notices from Pacific Medical in August of 2024 claiming that I owed them $60 plus a $25 late fee. When I called their **************************** on August 27, I was told by ***** that the letter I received was a mistake and that my account was in good standing. ***** told me to disregard any notices from them because my account was completely clear of any balance due. I received two Final Notice letters between August 27 and September 3. I disregarded the first as I was instructed, but then called them back on September 4 to ask why I was still receiving bills from their company. The woman I spoke with on September 4 said there was no record of my original conversation on August 27 and that I owed their offices $85. From what I've read, this company is a complete scam. I never received any initial letters, only the ones claiming I owed a late fee.

I got to ER with pain in my arm and was diagnosed with three different tendonitis. ER nurse gave me cheap brace for free and sent me to Orthopedic doctor. IThe brace did not help ti reduce pain causing more discomfort. The Orthopedic doctor said that brace is not my size, not for my hand shape. I was sent to Hand Specialist, to get a custom brace for my hand. A week after, I received call from Pacific Medical asking to confirm that I received the brace in ER. They asked if I want to process it thru insurance. I assumed it woul cover by my regular part of general ER **** said OK. They emailed me electronic document and I signed it. Soon, I received 2 separate bills: 1. ER my co-payment $250, and 2. from Pacific $277 for short Universal size brace. My insurance adjusted bill to $190. 79. I called Pacific asked what is it for. I was said it is for brace from ER. I checked online, this brace cost $36. I asked can I pay $36, they said no, I have to pay 7 times more. They said tbrace price was approved by lawyers and attorneys of insurance company. I called my ins, they said the price billed by Pacific Med is not set up by my insurance. I explained to Pacific, their brace did not fit and I had to do custom brace,. I offered to return brace. I need to pay my ER $250 bill, and ibrace price is exaggerated. I offered to pay real price $36, as it online, Pacific said no.I am shocked. I am a Senior, work simple job, hardly can make my leaving paying rent and food Pacific Medical is simply steeling! by forcing me to pay 7 times more then it cost. Is that legal at all to charge $277 for $36 item? Who can protect Seniors like me from being ripped off by companies like Pacific Med in **? It means Seniors are not protected from any crooks who can take advantage over Senionr and send a bill whatever they want. Why not charge $1000, $2000, $10000 for cheap brace? Their Sup told me: there is nothing we can do and I do not care what you are going to do.

I received a Velcro wrist brace from the bill over the phone and requested a payment confirmation number, but they said a confirmation code was not generated. I just got a new bill for the same amount. I have a bank statement. I will go to great lengths with this. I will call them again; what kind of scam is this?

Received a letter from Pacific Medical. Have no idea who they are or what this is for. Tried to look it up online, but requires an invoice number, which the letter does not provide. Tried to call, no answer. This is a scam and I better not receive any further collection efforts.

Was sent a bill that I cannot pay. The bill gives three payment methods, all of which don't work. What a headache. 1. Online - the website doesn't work 2. Call - nobody answers the phone, can't make payment 3. Paystub - nowhere to enter a credit card number. What nonsense. But...if I'm late they make it clear I'll have to pay a $25 late fee...but yet none of their payment methods work. I think they may make it difficult on purpose just to collect extra late fees, I'm not sure.
