    I called to cancel services and "******" answered the phone. I asked to cancel and he asked me if I was sure, I said yes, he asked if I was aware that that decision wasn't in my best interest and proceeded to tell me how terrible MOHELA is. I once again asked how to cancel and he said he could do it for me but that he wanted to let me know what services I would be letting go of. I asked if there was another number I should call and he stated no. I hung up and called again only to get ****** to which I hung up again to avoid being lectured about cancelling. I called again and he answered AGAIN and I asked to talk to someone else and he interrupted me and told me I'd get my confirmation within 5 minutes. I'm an adult. If I wish to cancel I want to cancel. How is ****** taking my money and SAP taking my money any different. I then got a long email detailing everything that I'm at risk of not using their services. My goodness I have never had a more negative customer service experience. ****** is quite the customer service star. Yikes!

    *** has been helping me with my documentation for many years. In my opinion, the paperwork and keeping up on all the laws and all the changes over the years have been very overwhelming. I cant think the people at **** is plus enough, especially ************Over the years she has become a go to person from day one she has gone above and beyond out of her way, always to make me feel relaxed and ensure that Im educated and knowledgeable about what is going on with my loans. She herself is very knowledgeable about all of the ins and outs, and anything that she is unsure of she will always find the answer. She also will take care of anything that I have needed in a timely manner.I wish I had someone like ********** to help me for the rest of my life! She is such a blessing!

    Companies of this type are all scams, but then again so is the student loan industry. And as I read in another comment, Student Assist Plus is at the top of the list for being the LEAST scammy. I was with them for eight years, and they did everything they said they would do for the fee. Sure, you can file your own taxes, change your own oil, replace your own roof and clean your own teeth, but name three people you know who actually do. I was given a statistic once that 63% of people who try to complete their own paperwork with the ********** of ********* fail. I absolutely believe that. I was one of them. The one time I took a stab at it I couldnt even download the forms. The link kept sending me to another website that was then flagged by my antivirus software. After twenty-five years of struggling with this student loan I am grateful to Heaven and all mankind that I am in a position where I no longer need this service. When I called to discontinue I had a rather unpleasant experience, and sent a nasty E-mail. Within hours ***** of SAP called me directly, apologized profusely, affirmed my decision to stop paying for something I no longer needed, and refunded monies she felt I was owed. Pretty sure straight-up scam organizations dont do things like that. Its a big up-front cost and then a monthly charge, but if you can budget it and need the help, I would recommend Student Assist Plus. Think of it the way you do lawyers. You hate the day you might need one, but when you do, youre awfully glad theyre there.

    Its worth the monthly premium to know Im being kept updated on all my paperwork to maintain my eligibility for the public service loan forgiveness program. They are always polite, patient and knowledgeable when answering questions. And they are proactive on my behalf, which I appreciate.

    It is a scam a adult can do all what they offer for themselves. ******, at Student Assist Plus was very rude and hung up on me. I hope the line recorded this .
