I was told that my car was refinanced and then I didn't have to make a payment to the current loan company for my car payment. A week after I get told that I got approved for the refinance and then everything was confirmed and finalized I got a letter from them saying that I was not approved and now since I couldn't make the payment for my car to my original loan company they sent out a letter for the missed payment and I might get my car repoed. That's going to cause a lot of issues because my mom has doctor's ************ for the heart doctor and those are ones she cannot miss. I also have my son that comes down so I need a vehicle to go to the store and get food and things we need while he is with me.Business Response

I refinanced my loan in August, 2023. Everything was going well until it got to signing the paperwork. The agent who assisted me told me that it was compulsory to sign for gap insurance and other two insurance. I told him several times that I didnt want to sign for any insurance. I also told him that I already had gap insurance so I dont need it. I also wasnt interested in signing up for any other insurance. He told me that they couldnt process the refinance if I did not sign up for the multiple insurance. So I reluctantly had to ding up. Then he sent me a document to sign stating that I wasnt forced to sign up for the insurance and it was totally optional . I told him that hes forcing me to sign so why would I sign this document. He reiterated that I still had to sign or else the refinance wouldnt go through. So I had to sign. Afterwards, I was very disturbed about everything so I asked around and found out that what they did was illegal. I called them and they told me they would cancel the insurance but a manager has to do that. They told me a manager would call me but no one did. I have been calling them for days to cancel but no manger calls me back to cancel. It likes they are playing a game with me and taking me for granted.Business Response

I have received multiple pieces of spam mail offers from NALN with vaguely threatening printing contained on the mail stating things like "Final notice enclosed" "immediate action required" and "Possible action imminent open immediately". Despite many notices stating they are final, it is not. I have attempted to contact this business to have myself removed from their mailing list and my contact information disposed of, but the business has not ceased sending me the spam mail. This mail does not actually contain information about my or anyone's accounts, but instead offers for special loan rates they offer.This type of mail is disturbing and obnoxious to myself personally to constantly receive, but downright dangerous and predatory to utilize as an advertising tactic, which seeks to take advantage of confusion or fear and is particularly dangerous to the disabled or elderly.Business Response

I have already attempted to contact the company to remove myself from their mailing list. They have not removed me from their mailing list despite my attempts to remove myself. As I have made it clear I have attempted this strategy already, I do not believe this even qualifies as an attempt at resolution.Business Response

I contacted NALN about a vehicle re-finance around 3/1/23. On 3/3/23, I received a refinance offer from DATCU via NALN. I was quoted a lower interest rate than my previous financier. My service rep did say the re-financing terms included a vehicle warranty. I told him I had made a 15k down payment, paid off an additional 5k of principal and had plenty of financial margin if major repairs were needed. He told me the warranty could be cancelled at any time so after several minutes, I accepted the terms and signed the paperwork. On April 11th, 2023, I emailed NALN with a vehicle service cancellation request and did a follow-up call later that day. No one answered at the ************ number so I left a message. I left 3 additional messages and two emails over the next seven days until ****** contacted me on 4/18/23 and said the warranty had already been cancelled on 4/11/23 even though I never received any confirmation via email or voicemail. On May 8th, 2023, I contacted National ********* (the vehicle warranty service provider) for NALN and I spoke with *** around 10:30 CST about the status of my refund check. She said my warranty had not been cancelled because ****** had not obtained my signature and I needed to contact her @ NALN. I emailed NALN with ATTN: ****** @ 11:33 am CST on 05/8/23 requesting any forms be emailed to me for my signature. The worst part is I specifically asked her on 4/18/23 if I needed to sign anything outside of my cancellation request initiated on 4/11/23 and she said, no. I waited for a response from NALN/****** and initiated a call to her voicemail on 5/9/23 with no response. Finally, I left another voicemail with ****** on 5/10/23 @ 6:10 CST and a message with her supervisor, ********. It is 3:19 CST on 5/11/23 and I have not heard back from NALN, ****************, National ********* or any representative of NALN. I want the entire amount of the warranty refunded no later than Monday, 5/15/23 and confirmation to my email: ***************Business Response

Very disappointed, I got a pre approval letter. They called and he texted ran our credit and text me that I was denied. Nobody asked me to run our credit and I never even authorized one. This is a scam. Now I am getting lots of scams emails and phone calls from telemarketers.Business Response

Hello my name is *********************************** at *********** or email at ******************* National Auto Loan Network was helping me get a lower rate which they did through axos Bank in *********. The deal was done by a DocuSign at *** after receiving my contract from the axos bank there was $4,000 in extended warranty charges included into my contract without my knowledge a copy and paste was used to get my initials on there. This is fraudulent it's also illegal is forgery and these crimes are punishable by a fine and time in jail. I have contacted them many times to no avail West ********************************** forward my information to ********** ************************* to no avail both attorney general's offices recommend me contacting a lawyer to resolve this. My next step is to call and talk to the Better Business Bureau with respect to their history of negotiating with bogus companies. I am asking you to please have the National Auto Loan Network remove the $4,000 in Fords documents for the warranties I did not want. This was on the October 31st 2021. On March 15, 2022, a check was sent to ********* for the refunded of the *************** Contact and applied to your loan. On April 6, 2022, the remaining refund was finalized, and the remaining refund check was process and issued to ********* and applied to your loan. As previously mentioned,the additional products that you agreed upon and acknowledged via contract are non-cancellable. We consider this matter closed.
