We moved from *******, **********, to ******, *******, and we hired ****** Movers. We had a full household move and was insured in the amount of $19,000. It took them 2 days to pack our household goods with our assistance. The workers continuously asked us for food and drinks. They stated that this was a company policy. After the 2nd day, they took our goods to their OC location/warehouse. According to their records, our full move included 81 boxes and pieces of furniture in household goods. Our household goods was stored in the warehouse for over 60 days until we found a home in *******. We were in constant contact with Pro Movers, our POC was named Gabe. Once the goods were in their possession, our goods was invaded and things were stolen, including 2 bikes, one electric and one racer, which was brand new, and a VA wheelchair for my wife's disability. They did go through and opened a majority of boxes and bins. Once we gave them our address for delivery, they delivered 43 out of 81 boxes, which 3 were not our goods. When the moving van arrived, all the boxes were either open or had fallen down; all household furniture were scratched or destroyed. The movers that unloaded the boxes and furniture took photos of the damages. One individual, *****, stated that you can reach out to him and his number is **************. We reached out to Pro Movers and **** stated that their company will make it right. We followed their protocol, sent photos, and itemized lists of the missing items. The company offered us $450, and that doesn't even cover gas. We lost an estimated $15,000 for shipment of household goods. We were instructed if we signed for the offer, we were not to give them a negative feedback on Yelp. If you would like, we can provide photos and e-mail from both parties. We just want the insurance coverage that is fair for the move. Thank you and have a wonderful evening!
