Contract paid on 1/17/21 and 2/10/21 to Forever Solar aka: Forever Solar Electric took over 18 months and abandoned the final battery installation.. 2 legal letters sent 6/6/2022: Paid Will ****** of Radcom Electric $1500 to complete 3/2/2023 to 5/11/2023: Water seen leaking into the ceiling beneath one set of solar panels Forever Solar, ****************************** and one employee employee try to fix the leak, but are unsuccessful. We file a claim with ***************** hoping that they can fix the it, but they deny it saying that Forever Solars installation is the problem.9/12/2023 to. 9/20/2023: ****************** refuses to use our licensed and assures us that he will bring our home back to its original state using only his employees and pay me back for any money that I spend on supplies or permits. The roof repair employees determine that the solar panels had ruined the whole roof and it all needs to be redone, Forever Solar wont pay. My family moves into 2 bedrooms and are constantly tortured by construction dust and noise until Forever Solar Electric abandons the job on 10/21/2023. Forever Solar has promised that they will pay us back, but I still have not received any payment. they now owe: $34,364. $285 - Air Purifiers $7,600 - Roof Repair labor $6,993 - Roof Repair materials $7,400 - Interior Repairs Labor $1,327 - Interior Repair Supplies $1,107 - Permits $300 - Glass Tabletop (employee damage)$987 - Granite Countertop (employee damage)$570 - Seamless Gutter Replacement (employee damage) $256 - Sun Tunnel (employee damage)$450 - water damaged picture mat $3,050 - Stucco Repairs $1,140 - Laminate Hardwood Repair Labor and Materials $535 - Flat Tire due to roofing nails left in driveway $2,364 - 6 months solar production loss* All Stucco repairs had to be redone since any repair that was done by Forever Solar employees looked like a sloppy repair job done with caulk instead of a professional stucco repair.

Solar installer was notified 11/16/23 of loan and waited until 1/10/24 to file for permits. Only 1 of 2 obtained after 63 days. As of today nothing filed for interconnect which could be 10 weeks leaving equipment unable to turn on and use.Becasue of the s**** up they said they'd pay my electric bill which I don't trust will happen either. Unprofessional and disrespectful conversations blaming me for everything even delays.Refuse to return initial check after instructed to by ELN and the bank. Demanding reimbursement of 8k for literally paperwork.Almost exactly what happened in previous complaint.

      Business response

      01/24/2024

We received notice from the ***************** that the customer (*************************************) finally signed the loan docs for the solar purchase by the late November 2023.
We then commissioned the permitting and engineering plans package.
Days later in December, our supplier alerted us that a particular solar panel model (which happens to be the model specified for this customer's *********************** is out of stock and that new stock will only be available by late February ****. Consequently, we let the customer know that we are willing to upgrade his panels to a much more expensive model (480w from 400w) for Free and his system size will increase by 670 ***** (from 10kW to 10.67kW). He approved it and we proceeded.
Note: the above is a supply chain related issue that id not in control of any installer.
Due to the change order/upgrade, we were back to drawing up the permitting plans set by mid December. Christmas and New Year breaks were in the way and so the Application for City Permit were submitted early January and approved on the 22nd of January, ****.
With the approved City permit in our hands, we intended to install immediately but was preempted by the customer advice not to install for they cancelled.

We made efforts to advise customer not to cancel as we are not really delayed. We tried to explain what cause the extra days to pass (as explained above). And even then, we are ready to install and want to install.
We even offered to the customer that we will pay/reimburse all their monthly solar loan payments he may incur up to the time he gets his PTO. This gesture may cost us up to 3 months reimbursement as their Utility is notoriously slow in their Interconnection process. That period is not in any installer's hands.

Meantime, we are working out how some expenses have to be treated or refunded because of the preemptive and unilateral cancellation of the customer.
